Do you ever just think about the ridiculous things you’ve spent your money on? Or look at something you own and think to yourself “I would buy this 100 times over.” I wanted to share a few things I can’t bring myself to spend money on anymore and things I absolutely always will.
3 Things I No Longer Spend Money On and 3 Things I Always Will
What I do not spend money on anymore:
Coffee Out (unless traveling): In 2021 I finally got a Nespresso maker and truthfully I just don’t think getting coffee at places like Starbucks tastes anywhere near as good. If you see me out I almost always have a coffee from home.
Random mugs and water bottles: I used to constantly buy mugs, water bottles, etc and it was SUCH a waste of money. I have a few special mugs we’ve gotten traveling and then the mugs I use every day for coffee but I no longer buy them. I Also just use my Simple Modern water bottles everyday and I have a couple. I love those because they don’t spill!
Overpriced bouquets of flowers: I won’t even really let Andrew buy me flowers anymore. I prefer to go to Trader Joes and get bunches of different flowers and greenery and make my own bouquets. It’s something I have come to find very calming and soothing and you save a ton of money. Plus the quality is way better and they last longer.

What I will spend money on:
Quality manicures/pedicures: I love having my nails and toes done so they always are and I will gladly work that into my budget.
Nice appliances/tech products etc: If we are buying a new appliance or tech item we buy a quality one. No sense in having something break and having to repurchase. Same goes for things like hair dryers.
Travel/experiences/meals: My favorite thing to spend money on are experiences. Travel, amazing dinners out, concerts etc. Things are great but the memories are what I hold way closer.
