It’s a Holiday weekend this weekend and I always like to know what people are up to so I thought I would share 5 Things I am up to this weekend!
1. Labor Day: DUH! It’s Labor Day weekend! Andrew has Monday off and I am giving myself the day off. I am pretty sure we are just going to relax and do nothing which is fine with me. I leave town next weekend for a blog conference so next week will be busy enough.
2. Helping my mom with a garage sale: I think the last time I had a garage sale I was 12 so this should be interesting. I have been helping her organize and clean out stuff all week long and we are spending Saturday hopefully selling a bunch of items! She is moving into a condo so downsizing of the things she does not use. For instance the woman had and I kid you not 6 sets of wine glasses. I am talking like 12 each. She does not drink wine.
3. Having people over to cook out: Sunday we are having a few of Andrews friends over for a cookout! We have not done this in a few months and I am excited to see his buddies who I adore.
4. Updating my music: OK am I the only one who never does this? I mean the music currently on my iPhone. I have not put new music on there in over a year. So new music time for me. I have a ton of stuff on iTunes patiently waiting to be on my phone. With all the travel I have coming up this weekend seemed like the perfect time. I listen to a lot of Pandora when working out because where else would I hear this beauty:
5. Convincing Andrew we need to either watch The Americans or The Killing. One of those shows is getting binged watched Monday. Mark my word! Do you have any other binge watch suggestions for us that aren’t obvious. We have watched nearly everything! We just rewatched Breaking Bad all the way through for lack of anything to watch. Can you tell we can’t wait for Fall TV???

You have a Pandora station that plays Robin Sparkles?!?!? That’s amazing!!! I only ever listen to Pandora anymore. I had to delete all of my music off of my phone because I take too many pictures.
I highly recommend The Americans. My husband and I are totally hooked on the show. You’ll find yourself rooting AGAINST the Americans and for the KGB spies. 🙂
I am so excited about Labor Day weekend! College football starts so that is what I will be bingeing on this weekend. Oh and I will be grilling out on Monday with the hubby

Spotify has totally changed the music game for me. I intend to update the iPod, but my phone is connected to the car via Bluetooth so I rarely use it anymore.

The Americans is. Great. It’s very intense. Slow moving. Homeland is good but slow.political thriller. Revenge and Once Upon A Time are really good. Both put season 3 on Netflix this week and that season on each is hot. . I had the summer from helll and everything just calmed down. I am so reading resting and watching this weekend. I love binge watching TV Shows. I just started Mad Men on Netflix and I am already halfway through season 2. I never thought I’d like that show but now I am hooked.
Thinking back to some of my favorite binges Breaking Bad was of course the all time fav. Six Feet Under a close second. Loved the Sopranos of course. True Blood, Dexter, the first season of American Horror Story, Orange is the New Black, an oldie but a goodie- Northern Exposure. That’s all I can think of off the top of my head but I know there are so many more….
I was thinking of starting the Americans also. Enjoy your weekend!
This holiday weekend I’m home with my parents in Newfoundland, Canada (12 hour flight away from where I currently reside!) so I’m exploring the province a little more in depth than I normally would if I still lived here. 🙂
sadly my husband works on weekends, and doesn’t get labor day off…so it’s going to be a normal weekend for us! i am hoping to meet up with a friend though. we’ll see!

We have the last three episodes of the killing to watch and I haven’t been able to do it yet. Im super sad it wasnt picked up for more episodes.
