This post is created in partnership with o.b.® tampons and Socialstars however all thoughts and opinions are my own #OBelievers
When life gets too crazy it’s always a good idea to think about the little things. The little things are those that make us happy, brighten our day, and make us stop to appreciate life more.
Today I want to share my favorite little things in life…
Binge watching shows with my husband. Recently we’ve been watching Making a Murderer which is not a light fluffy show. But I love cuddling up in bed or on the couch and just enjoying something together. It’s somewhat rare that Andrew and I discover something we both really like.
Movie dates with my mom. Award season is my favorite because it means lots of movie dates with my mom. We love seeing all the nominated films. So far we’ve seen The Big Short and Joy. Next on our list is Spotlight, Concussion, Brooklyn and Carol.
Phone chats with my best friend. My best friend Ashley and I always have pretty epic phone chats. I’m just leaving that there.
Discovering the book I am reading is a “can’t put this book down” kind of book.
Discovering a product that makes my life 10 times easier. As a busy girl finding products that are small and easy are of utmost importance. I have been using o.b.® tampons and I love them for so many reasons. Every woman’s body is different. That’s why o.b.® tampons are designed to help stop leaks by expanding all-around to fit each unique shape. Fluid-Lock® grooves for locked-in leak protection. The only one with SilkTouch™ cover for ultimate comfort and protection. I love how compact they are too! Like I said, they just make life easier!
The first sip of coffee on a day that you REALLY need it! No explanation needed here.
The timing of a perfectly quotable movie line. For instance, when someone asks you to describe your perfect date and you respond with “April 25th.” Or if someone tells you to do something and you respond with “I’m right on top of that, Rose.” Either you get it or you don’t 🙂
This is just a reminder to take a minute out of every day to appreciate the little things.
What is one of your favorite “little things?”

Amen to the coffee!! My husband and I used to binge watch House back before we had kids, now with three little ones we are more in the My Little Ponies and Transformer Rescue Bots bingers 🙂 Honestly, I am thankful for Netflix and no commercials! Love o.b. as well, they saved me on my 2 week kayak trip in college…it was a requirement.
Loved your blog layout and you’re so pretty! I have tons of such little things that I absolutely love. In fact, my happiness consists more of these small things. x

Such a great post! I love the first sip of coffee. And perfectly timed movie quotes. And binge watching Netflix with my husband. We haven’t watched Making a Murderer but I’ve heard it’s good!
Yes to the first sip of coffee, I’m on my second cup already and it gets better with every sip!
I love my coffee and look forward to it every morning. I also love when I get to meet a girlfriend out in the middle of the day for coffee too. My husband and I like to binge watch Aarow on Netflix. Its the best and we love our time together watching it.
COFFEE YES! I’m such a Starbucks addict. One ofmy goals this year was to actually cut back my Starbucks intake and drink more water. Lol.I drank/spent way too much on Starbucks in 2015!
My favorite little thing is being able to text my friend Shirley and know that no matter what, she’s got my back even though we’re so far apart, distance wise.
LOL @ “I’m right on top of that, Rose!” I haven’t thought about that movie in AGES!
I’ll have to check out Murderer show–have heard so many great things! Funny, I just wrote about my love of Netflix binging on the blog today, too!
I really want to see Joy. I love that you and your mom have date nights! I’m going to take a page out of your book and invite my mom to a date night, too 🙂
I am currently obsessed with Making A Murder . It’s really addicting. Finding a good book is always nice. Coffee yes!!!!! I am in serious need of some right now.
The little things, whether physical or not, really are important!
I personally believe the LITTLE things in life are ALWAYS the best things in life… Including mini tampons, ha ha!
Awesome post! I would have to agree with you that the first sip of coffee in the morning is the BEST! Another one of my favorite little things is to watch my kids be kind to one another. It makes this mommy’s heart swell up a bit.
Little things are actually the biggest source for happiness for me, I live for them. Love the post btw, it warmed up my heart 🙂
Yes! I love best friend talks! I don’t have them nearly enough!! & mom days! My fave!! I will have to try the tampons, anything to make this mamas life easier!
Hubby and I have been binge watching Saving Hope! It’s something I never thought we’d do and yet…here we are and loving it
My little thing is watching hockey with my 13 year old son because one day soon, he’ll be off into the world without me:(
That first sip of coffee really in the best! Almost makes mornings bearable!
We just started watching Making a Murderer and it is SO intense!! Also, I love the reference to Miss Congeniality 😉 !
Awesome! The little things are usually the best ones. That show is next on my list once our trial of Showtime is over. It’s pretty creepy since I live in WI and can remember when all that stuff happened.
These are all great things that we sometimes tend to take for granted.
My fiance and I are watching Making a Murderer right now too — it’s so interesting.
xoxo, Jenny
I love this post! It really is all about the little things! I love when I stop and appreciate those things. Thanks for sharing adn thanks for the reminder!
Sitting down to watch one of my guilty pleasure shows at the end of a long day is one of my favorite things! 🙂
When my little one and i go to bed everynight and he says “snuggle with mamas” then curls up in the crook of my arm and falls asleep. I dont even care that my arms fallin asleep too??
My favorite go to relaxing things are warm tea and a nice warm bubble bath.
The smell of coffee brewing in the morning and cuddling with my husband and my cat…are the little things that mean a lot.
