Happy Thursday friends! It’s time for another coffee date. I love these posts where I feel like I can give you guys a little taste of what’s going on with my life and see what it would be like if we met up for a coffee date. I got this idea from my friend, Lisa.

Another Coffee Date…
If we were on a coffee date I would probably get a nonfat latte and be overly excited about the red cups. What about you? Something about the red cups makes the lattes taste better? Right? I know! Plus there are so many different ones this year. What’s your favorite? Would you get a seasonal drink? I like the gingerbread latte but it’s pretty sweet, so it’s only a once in a while thing.
I would also probably offer you a candy cane Hershey’s kiss because this time of year I almost always have them with me. I LOVE THOSE!
I would ask you if you have a favorite holiday treat or candy and what it is? Do you bake? I like to make peppermint bark this time of year. We always make monkey bread on Christmas morning too! I love fun traditions.
Tell me about the Thanksgiving and holiday traditions you have coming up?
I would wonder how you feel about Black Friday shopping? I tend to stick to online shopping that day myself. However this year I may be too distracted by the Gilmore Girls episodes on Netflix to care!
I would ask how your fall is going? It’s still not exactly cool weather in Dallas. We’ve had some colder mornings and nights but still 70’s most days. SIGH! GIANT SIGH! Maybe by Thanksgiving.
Have you started Christmas shopping? I sort of have. I mean I bought one thing, so it counts right?
I would ask if you have any book suggestions because I am always needing new ones and then I would offer mine if you were interested in them.
I would also ask if you’ve seen any movies lately. We’ve been so busy that I haven’t seen anything!
Why don’t you tell me what we would chat about if we were on another coffee date!

I am going to see if I can get a camera on Black Friday, online of course, this is such a lovely post. I am so excited for Christmas! Xx

It’s supposed to get down in the 30s this weekend in Dallas! I’m so excited. I have so many cozy pjs that I am waiting for cooler weather to wear.
Also, we celebrate Christmas with one side of the family at Thsnksgiving, so I already have gifts ready to go. Can’t believe Thanksgiving is one week away!
This thanksgiving will be very different for me because I will be working on thanksgiving, so I can’t go home to be with family. But I’m so thankful for Josh’s family and that I can spend the morning with them before I leave for work.
I would definitely talk about my children and then of course shopping , one of my favorite things!
I love the red cups too!! Going there today and very excited because I have not had any holiday drinks yet this year. We always host Thanksgiving and I love it. It is the one holiday we don’t have to travel and get to bring all the love here!
Gaaaah I love candy cane hersheys too!!!! We’d probably chat about blog life, and I’d probably tell you all the plans I have for 2017 but so little time to do it all!
Well, I would say that I love Cappucino a lot. Maybe we can talk about collaboration in blogging?
I love these posts so much. They’re such a fun way to get to know other bloggers. My coffee order always changes so i’m not sure what I would order but I would love all the holiday talk with you. I’m so excited for Thanksgiving and Christmas this year, even though i’m not prepared for either yet.
Love these posts!! I would tell you that I can’t wait for you to have your son 🙂 I just had my third daughter three weeks ago and it’s just pure bliss. She’s such a sweet baby and I am loving the newborn phase!! Being a mommy is the best, and I’m very excited for you!!

I went to Starbucks and got a red cup and then went back a couple days later and they were white again…I guess everyone was so excited, the store didn’t make sure they had enough red for the demand? That’s my guess, at least. But I do love them just because it starts to spark that holiday spirit which I think we all need right while we deal with post-election stress.
I’m likely going to be going solo for Thanksgiving this year, which may sound crazy but I’m okay with it. Work gets NUTS and I will likely be working all day Friday and maybe Saturday after Thanksgiving so to take that day to just relax and do whatever I would like (without worrying about driving 4 hours there and back so I can see my family) sounds really nice. I’ll miss that family time, but the extra relaxation is really needed right about now.
I’d love to have a coffee date. It’s been so long since I had a chance to sit and catch up with my friends. As busy as the holidays are, I’m going to carve out some time for catching up.
The red cups DEFINITELY make the coffee taste better! So happy the holiday flavors..and red cups…are back!
Although we’re in Germany we do celebrate Thanksgiving like we did with our friends in the US during our time in Chicago. I am really looking forward to it.
Cyber Monday is a better shopping day for me. Good luck to those Black Friday shoppers out there!
I’d tell you how excited I am to get my fiancé back after 7 months of being separated by 1900 miles, and also how nervous I am to have to deal with my future-in-laws for the next month ?
I would love to have a coffee date with you and talk about a gazillion things! I would want to know if you like sunsets too. Do you dream of spending some alone time in a quiet seaside village? I would want to know what other country or culture you would love to learn about? So many topics! 🙂
I think if you offered me a candy cane hershey kiss, we would be best friends! Egg nog latte is probably one of my fave for the holiday season.
Very nice post. I love a good camera too. I love my Canon Rebel T5. It’s wonderful.
Tell me your book suggestions!
If we were having coffee, I’d be grateful to also be holding a red cup in my hand! 😉 Only because I live so far from a Starbucks. But my husband and I are making a trip out to Knoxville (70 miles away) this weekend and I’ll be sure to grab my red cup then! 😉
Also, I’m impressed you can carry chocolate in your bag and not feel compelled to take one out every few seconds. That bag would be GONE before the day was over if it were me!
What a fantastic idea! Vanilla lattes are my go to, but Starbucks has a chestnut praline latte right now that’s pretty good! We are doing friendsgiving! My family is on the East coast and I’m in the West coast so this year it’s Thanksgiving with friends 🙂 I haven’t started Christmas shopping yet. I always think I’ll start sooner than I actually do! Hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving! Thanks for doing coffee ?
I love the idea of coffee date.
I am planning to host my first thanksgiving/friendsgiving this year and I’ll be cooking a Turkey!

I would get a flat white, that is my favorite coffee, no too much milk and perfect punch of caffeine. I am not a chocolate fan however I do like baked scone and those at Starbucks are very nice I like the petite ones, perfect bite.
Thanksgiving Traditions have changed a lot for my family recently, but we all get together and eat for an army. My favorite food is stuffing, and I really could eat it year-round. I love what this season brings as far as family togetherness.
And yes, I would most certainly have a holiday drink!
I love coffee dates and I love posts that center around them! I like the Black Friday sales, but don’t like to go until like 10 am. I think it’s sad when people miss out on Thanksgiving and family time because they are already in line!
I wasn’t going to Black Friday shop, but I have family coming into town and I think they want to… THE CROWDS! Yikes! We’ll see how it goes. It’s still warm in NC too.
I would also be freaking out about the red cups and probably trying to take the perfect Instagram red cup picture. And the Black Friday sales are a huge topic of discussion right now! So many goodies on sale!

I tend to avoid big crowds so no Black Friday shopping for us. Maybe online.
I’ve never gone Black Friday shopping because I’ve always worried about the crowds. I would love to sit and enjoy a coffee right now and how about those Hershey’s Kisses?
Thanksgiving isn’t a holiday here in Norway but we still celebrate. We just do it early. We celebrated it yesterday! We had a great time with lots of family here in Norway but it makes me miss my family in the states.
What a darling post! It snowed here in Pittsburgh today, so it’s safe to say the warm weather is behind us up here for the season. But as for drinks, I’ve been obsessing over the Carmel Praline Latte at Starbuck. I’m sure its like 1000 calories, but its SOO good!!
