There are times I love a good splurge on beauty, and there are times that the drugstore stuff is just as good or better. Today I want to share some beauty worth the splurge, at least in my opinion!
Beauty Worth The Splurge
Replica perfume is my absolute favorite! I have all of the rollerballs and a few of the scents do NOT come in rollerball form. Those bottles can be quite pricey. The one I think is absolutely worth the splurge is Lipstick On. It is the perfect date night perfume.
I used to think fancy lotions were silly. I was totally wrong once I started using the Origins smoothing souffle. I received a press sample of this and I have since repurchased it twice! It gives your skin a cooling sensation and it is SO moisturizing!
A LONG time ago I got sent some La Mer products and the one that has stayed in my rotation the longest is the soft cream. It’s VERY pricey but you only need a little bit to go a long way.
I have the hardest time with puffy eyes. I guess I drink too much coffee and it dries my skin out faster, but I have found that the Peter Thomas Roth eye patches really help de-puff them! Highly recommend.
I am a long time lover of Chanel lipglosses. It is one item I will splurge on without an ounce of guilt. They are all amazing. Number 119 is my favorite if you need a great neutral.
I think Mascara is one of my favorite products. It’s one of the only makeup items I wear daily. I picked up the shock from YSL after reading great reviews and it did not disappoint! I am not usually one to splurge on mascara but this one is a splurge worthy one.
I love a good lip balm and I carry about 12 in my purse. One of my favs to reach for the is By Terry baume de rose. I was sent it as a PR sample and I have since repurchased it!
Quite a while back I was sent a huge Lancome box and inside were a few blushes. I fell in love with them right away. They are some of the best for lasting wear and not being too pigmented.
I was sent a Dyson hair dryer a while back. You can read the entire review here. Honestly, it has continued to be one of my favorite things I own. If it ever broke I would for sure buy a new one!
One is one item of beauty worth the splurge for you?
I’m so stingy with my beauty products, but some of these sound like really good investments. I’m especially interested in the Dyson hairdryers – for sure I’d get one if I dried my hair daily, but I like my hair airdried! 🙂

I’m notorious for being super frugal, but I’ve heard amaaaazing things about that La Mer cream! Maybe someday…
I can imagine the Chanel glosses would be wonderful! I really want to try La Mer and totally get you on By Terry Baume de Rose – it is definitely worth the splurge x

my dyson dryer is seriously the best thing I’ve ever splurged on. I LOVE how my hair feels and how fast it dries! Also love the Peter Thomas Roth 24k series, the eye patches especially work wonders!
I’ve heard so many good things about La Mer and that blow dryer!

I am a sucker for rose tones and anything that smells like roses. 🙂 These items all seem to be worth the splurge. I also need lots of moisture on my skin so I will keep that smoothing souffle in mind.
I’m curious about that origins products – I like the idea that it has a cooling sensation when you put it on.
This is a great list! The only thing I don’t splurge on its mascara, live my Lash Paradise!
Oh I use that one most of the time!
I love when people have certain things that they will splurge on, and I am over here thinking that my one “I MUST OWN” thing to do with self-care is my specific shampoo and conditioner that really only costs like $5 each bottle. I love your list of must have for beauty items that are worth every penny!
I splurge on my skin care a bit. After having a hard time finding something that felt like it actually worked, I tried doTERRA’s Essential Skin Care line and it is my favorite! I use the face wash and moisturizer and have never looked back! It’s definitely worth the extra cost and thankfully it only takes a little bit so it lasts awhile.
We are obsessive about lip balm, too. I use several drugstore products that are worth the splurge.
Love the Dyson hair dryer! Last year my blow dryer started smoking at me, so it was time to get a new one. I bought a Revlon blow dryer and it has worked great!
I’m all about skincare so I have to try that Origins whipped soufflé.
I want that Dyson hair dryer big time and have for awhile. I have a good hair dryer for now but that’s one I want to get eventually.
I know Dyson can be pricey but I have read good reviews on their products especially the blow dryer
I need to try that Dyson hair dryer! How much fun. I love a nice mascara– such a necessity in my world.
I am straight up obsessed with the Origins souffle! I love all of their products, but that one is a must!
I love my Dyson Vacuum so maybe I should jump on this Dyson blowdryer wagon too!
You had me at de-puffing eye patches.
I’ve actually really been wondering about the Dyson dryer and have wanted to try it!!
