December 2023 Goals

Happy December! December is always such a busy month with all the holiday activities but such a fun month too! Before I share my December 2023 goals it’s time to see how I did with my November goals.

December 2023 Goals

In November I wanted to…

  • Read 6 books: I read 4! It was a slow reading month!
  • Secure 5 brand partnerships: Yes and so grateful!
  • Have one date night with Andrew: We did get a date night in on the last day of the month!
  • Turn Charlotte’s room into more of a big girl room for her birthday: Yes she got a big bed and we are slowly getting it finished.
  • Finish Christmas shopping: I finished the kids shopping!
  • Walk every day: yes I did this! Love my walks!
  • Try a new fall recipe: Fail – did not do this!
  • Do one holiday activity with the kids: We did a few! We took the kids to Snowday at the Galleria in Dallas and our local neighborhood tree lighting.
  • Have one on one time with Liam: I do feel like we had more one on one time this month! Definitely hard to get that with either kid.

In December I want to…

  • Read 6 books
  • Secure 3 new brand partnerships
  • Create a professional and personal goal list for 2024
  • Do one thing with each kid just us
  • Take the kids to do 2 more holiday activities
  • Encourage the kids to purge some toys
  • Get the house completely cleaned up and organized after Christmas
  • Host a fun holiday gathering

What is one of your December 2023 goals?

I really love your approach to life. You may not reach all of your goals, but you have such a lineup that even if you don’t meet them all, you still accomplish so much!

Girl, you are crushing it! I WISH I could read four books in a month. I don’t think I’ve read four books in the past six months. LOL

Great job on accomplishing your goals! It is a slow reading month for me too as I have been busy with work. I wanted to bake something for fall too but haven’t had the chance. Usually it’ll be some cookie of sorts. Perhaps in December? One of my goals in December to update our scrapbook during our winter break. I am behind by six months!!!

I love to read books as well. But I like to read one, maybe two good classics at most monthly. Good luck with your December goals!

I still don’t know how you do this. Clearly setting goals and holding yourself accountable help! My goal for December is to survive but I should take your lead and set higher expectations!

Awesome recap from November. My goal for December is to try and enjoy the holidays and all the magic leading up to them – instead of stressing through it all.

  8. Nniiccceeee…it is resting more, this whole month. It has been a very long year and very little rest. I love the fact that you achieved this “Do one thing with each kid just us”. It’s never easy!

Loving the goals! It’s awesome that you’ve read that many books; I don’t have the time. I used to read during warmer weather on weekends outdoors. But to be honest, it’s been a while.

You’re right, it’s such a busy month. We have a lot going on over the next few weeks. I met my reading goal for the year, so that’s no longer part of my goal! I’ll continue reading, but finally met my overall reading goal.

  14. I suck at encouraging my daughter to purge her toys. She doesn’t even bother with them anymore but she still wants them. Let me know how you get on.
