Fall Bucket List (For Families)

We are just a week away from the official start of the fall season. Sure in Texas we have quite a while before it feels like fall but there is no shortage of fun fall activities! If you are wanting to do lots of fun fall activities as a family this year I have a great fall bucket list for you! Most of these are things we want to do this year or plan to do. Some are Dallas specific but most you can find anywhere! Some are also things that are super-specific to our family.

Fall Bucket List (For Families)

  • Take pumpkin pictures at the arboretum
  • Go Apple picking
  • Carve a pumpkin
  • Decorate for fall
  • Go trick-or-treating
  • Celebrate Halloween
  • Visit the State Fair
  • Go on a hayride
  • Visit a haunted house
  • Celebrate our 5-year anniversary (October 11th)
  • Get house all ready for baby girl (November 23rd c-section)
  • Try a new pumpkin recipe (cookies maybe)
  • Make apple-cider
  • Read by the fire
  • Build a fire in our new fireplace
  • Bake a pie

Do you have a fall bucket list? What are some things you would add that I don’t have on mine?

I don’t have a fall bucket list, but we will be enjoying the outdoors more. I looked and we are supposed to have high temps below 90 next week! That’s exciting for Houston! 🙂 We have a couple of camping trips planned and I am determined to have both boys riding their bikes without training wheels once we can get out there and practice without melting.

Such a simple list of fall bucket list ideas for the family. I Love this season, it is my favorite as it’s not too hot nor too cold. The evenings are almost perfect. I like to rake up leaves and jump in them with my kids – they’are 16, 13, and 11 … and still enjoy that family fall bucket list fun idea with me.

  10. Happy Anniversary, and congrats on your pending arrival! Our fall bucket list looks a little different this year because we have several major house renovation projects going on – but it will all be so worth it when the projects, and fall, are behind us!
