So in less than two weeks I am going to a blog conference I have wanted to go to for YEARS! Alt Summit in SLC. I am getting excited well thats an understatement. Blogging is one of the most important parts of my life. Five years ago when I started blogging I never knew the opportunities it would give me and the chances I would take because of it. Blogging has taught me to not get stagnant and when I do these conferences tend to come at the right time. Blogging has made me stay curious, open, excited and willing to try new things.
I am so excited to meet so many new people, excited to visit a new city, excited to see what this conference brings for my writing, my blog, and all that it encompasses.
I think being inspired by others is one of the best parts of this world. Hearing other peoples stories, struggles, values, hopes and inspiration not only inspires me but it pushes me to be the best version of myself.
At the end of the day I want to stay curious about this world of blogging, stay active and really enjoy this new to me conference.

What keeps me curious.. how bloggers get so successful? How they reach ‘the numbers’ so quickly. It’s a mystery that I hope one day I will be a part of. Smile.

Totally sweet! And you are spot on.. This is EXACTLY what blogging is all about. I personally never attended any life blog conference. I do have plans though this year 2015 to make it one of my duties to attend. Please come back and blog about your blog conference experience. Oh how I needed to read this post. My wonderful hubby signed me up for a blogging conference for next weekend and I am completely terrified, mainly because I still don’t really know what in the world I am doing. Writing is a piece of cake for me (I am a teacher), but the blogging parts are still a challenge for me, and I am afraid to admit it to a group of strangers. Wishing you (and not gonna lie–myself, too) a great conference!
