October 2018 Goals

Happy October! I love the sound of that! It goes along with one of my favorite quotesย โ€œI’m so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers.โ€ โ€• L.M. Montgomery, Anne of Green Gables. But of course it also means new goals. So I am sharing my October 2018 goals as well as a look back at September.

October 2018 Goals

What I wanted to do in September…

  • Read 3 books: I read 4! Yay.
  • Get plans set for fall travel I have coming up: I actually opted to not do one trip. The other one is early stages of planning.
  • Have 2 dates with Andrew: September we opted for some quiet weekends at home and Liam was sick a bunch this month so sadly we did not. We do have two dates planned for October, one being celebrating our 4th wedding anniversary!
  • Try a new workout class: (I am trying ClassPass this month!) I did try a different barre studio.
  • Schedule blog content through the end of the month: I did have my September blog content all scheduled and I am almost done with October.
  • Try to get to 70K on Instagram: done and done!
  • Work on Twitter and scheduling more tweets: I am doing this more.
  • Schedule Pinterest content more: I really need to get better about it. I am working towards it but not perfect.

What I want to do in October…

  • Read 5 books
  • Try more new beauty and skincare products to blog about
  • Try to get to 75K on Instagram and 25K on Pinterest
  • Schedule pins for a week at a time
  • Finish October blog content and begin on November
  • Finish our November trip planning
  • Take Liam to the Arboretum, State Fair, Pumpkin Patch, and Trick or Treating
  • Have 2 dates with Andrew

      Good luck with all your goals and well done on reaching so many last month!! My goals are to go to the gym more and go for a walk everyday. Also to write at least one blog post a week if possible ๐Ÿ™‚

      Wow this is not what I expected! I feel like you had a lot for September and less for October. I set goals but I guess not as specific as you…Huh thats why I am getting nowhere. Ok so let me tell you what I would looove to achieve then. 1. Get more followers on Instagram (like maybe get into the 300’s or 400’s) 2. I would love to plan out and write all blog posts for October and maybe get a headstart for November. 3. Declutter my whole apartment by December so by end of october I need to be done with 2 whole rooms!
      I hope I can get these done!

      I like how you take the time to write down your monthly goals not just for your blog, but for other areas of your life. I need to be better about doing that! I have them in my head, but feel like I’d be more productive if they are written down on paper.

      Great goals! I always love the fresh outlook that comes with a new month. In October I’m hoping to finish my blog content for the rest of the semester and get ahead on a few school projects!

      I wish I had time to read more. I try to sneak in a few minutes a night, but by the time I get into bed, I’m so exhausted that I fall asleep almost immediately.

      This is a great post and I love the ideas of setting goals for the month in all areas of life and then going back at the end of the month to see how well I did with them!

      I like your goals and great job on getting so many of them done in September. I am definitely adding reading to my October goals, but I think I’ll start with just one since it has been so long since I read even that,

      Wow! You finish all the Sept goals! I completed only 4/7 goals I set last month :p
      This month I hope I could read 2 books, watching the TV shows I’m following, sew at least a dress, and work out more often.
