I know we are already 4 days into September but I wanted to share my September 2018 goals now because I know we were all busy this holiday weekend! I hope everyone had a great Labor Day, and I can’t believe “fall” is around the corner! I also want to check in and see how I did on my August Goals.
September 2018 Goals
What I wanted to do in August…
- Read 4 books: Yes I read 5!
- Work on Twitter more: This was a fail.
- Work on Q4 blog content plans: Yes I have a TON of great stuff coming up! Also lots of treats for you guys!
- Have 2 dates with Andrew: Well we went to a concert so that’s one. Then we dealt with Liam being sick twice, and both of us being sick. So half accomplished.
- Organize Liam’s toys and put some in storage-he has way too much: YESSSS! Well I did it this past weekend so even though it was September still sort of counts?
- Clean out my closet/purge/donate: Yes this is done!
- Spend quality time with my parents: I did have some family time this month but not enough!
- Have at least one, one-on-one date with a friend: Yes spent an entire day with my sweet bestie!
- Take Liam to the pool more: We didn’t because with an ear infections (!!!!) we have to keep him away for a few weeks!
What I want to do in September…
- Read 3 books
- Get plans set for fall travel I have coming up
- Have 2 dates with Andrew
- Try a new workout class (I am trying ClassPass this month!)
- Schedule blog content through the end of the month
- Try to get to 70K on Instagram
- Work on Twitter and scheduling more tweets
- Schedule Pinterest content more
What September 2018 goals do you have?

I definitely need to set some goals. I think it will help me
Become more focused.
Great job on all of your August goals. I hope you’re all feeling better now though! Good luck with all of your September goals. I’m hoping to drink a lot more water this month and be more active; but I’m signing up for two dance classes so that will help!

What a fun goals post! I’m such a goals oriented person, but at the same time I’m the worst at setting and actually accomplishing my goals- I love how you post your update on last month’s goals and then what your goals are for this month. Maybe I should try doing something like that! Thanks for sharing 🙂

I love the idea of monthly goals on the blog. What a great way to keep a record of them and reflect on your success! I may have to steal your idea!
Meanwhile, your monthly goals (both personal and business) are definitely SMART goals. Love them!
I believe your goals are doable. I have to work on my Instagram too. It looks like this social media channel will be the new thing to replace Facebook. Wishing you all the best this September!
I love your monthly goal setting. You inspire me to keep working toward this! For August, I was just happy to manage getting everyone back to school and sports schedules again. I have this weird habit of wondering how it’s all going to come together, then somehow it always gets done in spite of my doubts. (Really gotta work on that one.) Thanks for your continues inspirations. This mama appreciates you!
I love your goals. I need to add having one date a month with my husband in the mix.
I have to switch over Penelope and Lucy’s clothes, haul stuff to be donated and then start purging toys to get ready for Christmas. I have to do it so gradually so nobody notices. HA!
Toys multiply like rabbits. I am constantly weeding out toys. As far as books, I’m curious which ones you recently read.
I have not even sat down to think about my goals for this month. Thanks for the reminder! lol Your goals are BIG and very impressive. What can I do to help?
This makes me want to make monthly goals as well. First goal: Come up with monthly goals for October. 😉
Congrats on accomplishing so many!
I’m hoping to finish purging my whole house. Then, I want to get my DSMP application in.
I just love reading your goals each month. They are so inspiring! I want to read at least three books too!
my goal is to work on more content and to grow my Instagram and Pinterest. thanks for sharing your goals with us!
I’m jut coming back from a blog hiatus. I’m looking forward to cranking out more content and growing my social platforms.
I like the idea of setting up monthly goals. This post has inspired me to think of what I want to accomplish in this month!
