October 2023 Goals

I love October. I always say it’s my favorite month. I love that the weather is almost perfect all month. Not super cold days but not oppressively hot. I love Halloween decorations and pumpkins. It’s just such a happy time. It’s time to share my October 2023 goals and also see how I did in September.

October 2023 Goals

In September I wanted to…

  • Read 6 books: I think I read 4. I have had the hardest time with reading the past two months!
  • Have one date night with Andrew: Ugh no 🙁
  • Have one girls’ night out: Yes I had two!
  • Try a new Peloton workout: I did a new yoga! So good!
  • Secure 3 brand partnerships: Yes and yes!
  • Post at least 10 Reels/TikToks: I posted quite a few!
  • Take the kids on the trail more as it cools down: It has yet to cool down haha!!
  • Take the kids to the Arboretum: We haven’t yet but we will this month!
  • Cross 2 things off my 101 in 1001 list: YES!

In October I want to…

  • Read 5 books
  • Book 5 new brand partnerships
  • Have a fun anniversary date with Andrew
  • Take the kids to a pumpkin patch
  • Take the kids to the State Fair
  • Get a little bit of Christmas shopping done
  • Get our family photos taken and holiday cards ordered
  • Have a fun girls’ night
  • Post to reels/Tiktok at least 10 times
  • Walk every single day this month at least 2 miles

Ooh I like the idea of doing a little bit of Christmas shopping this month. It’s so stressful shopping once it hits December. People tend to get a little crazy and forget car parking. Good on you for getting an early start!

My goal is to get my grandkids to the pumpkin patch which we’ve done the last couple of years. I hope you reach your goals.

One of my goals is to not eat the Halloween candy and then have to go buy more Halloween candy. LOL

September can be such a busy month with school events, so it seems like you did pretty well on those goals! I am working towards more consistency on a few things, such as going walking more often. A book I just read said “three times per week is a habit” so I am focusing on that to start with.

Great goals to set and it’s good that you’re also allowing yourself to be flexible with said goals. I know you wanted to read 6 books in September but only managed 4? So instead of beating yourself up about it, you’ve readjusted it to something more manageable! And that’s perfectly okay!

My goal for October is to enjoy the season more and fall events. I always struggle between summer ending and fall beginning – so I want to live in the moment more and get some fall events scheduled.

I like your goals, especially date nights and girls out evenings. I spent so much time with kids and I truly need some adult fun. I can’t wait till Halloween evening and planning Christmas shopping.

  13. Hhhhmmm….I’ve noticed you are having trouble with reading consistently, these last 2 months. What’s happening, girl? Personally, I look forward to organising the next food art exhibition here in my community.

  14. Christmas shopping is always the best. I have started mine already. Although my family is big, we are all grown ups, so I won’t be spending much this year.
