Oh Netflix. We have quite the love/hate relationship. I love that I can binge watch any of your shows or movies and laze myself away on a weekend or sick day. I hate that there are so many TV shows that should be on there with me binge watching them.
So this blog post came from a phone conversation with my BFF Ashley we were talking about shows that should be on Netflix. Why aren’t they? Where are these shows!!???
So without further adieu…
1. Everwood: Probably my favorite show of all time but also with critics ranked a show that got canceled way before it’s time. My opinion? It was on the wrong network. I was 18 when the show started and as I have gotten older and watched it again and again I feel it’s more of a show for adults. It was on a channel for teens. No dice. If you have not watched Everwood and you have a way to, I highly suggest it. Also Netflix please put Everwood on!
2. Gilmore Girls: I don’t feel as though this needs a lot of explanation but OMG for the love of Copper Boom put Gilmore Girls on Netflix. How many of us love Gilmore Girls? Wish there was a reunion? Wish it never ended? I know I am not alone here. Nuff said….bring back Luke!
3. 7th Heaven: OK guilty pleasure time. I loved 7th Heaven. #TeamLucy I know it was campy and silly and totally G rated ridiculous but I loved it. This is one that for sure needs to be on Netflix.
4. Friends: Not even elaborating here. Really guys? You don’t have FRIENDS on Netflix?
5. Brothers and Sisters: My 2nd all time fav family drama after Parenthood. I loved the first few seasons. The last one was kinda crappy but all in all great show and needs some Netflix loving.
What is one show you would love to see on Netflix?
Yeah, no friends, bewitched of Jeannie. The rights holders to those shows have them in a DEATH grip and won’t sell them except to a network for a limited time for reruns. It stinks.

i own half of the series on dvd, but it would still be amazing if they put it on netflix! it seriously is one show that i can never get too much of!
Everwood is one of my favorites as well and I’ve always wondered why you can’t watch it anywhere! And 7th Heaven and Gilmore Girls. Although I own Gilmore Girls 😉
I’m surprised about the shows/movies NOT on Netflix. Yeah – frig man, where’s Friend’s? I haven’t had a tv in about 8-10 years, so all I do is stream the netflix.
OMG. I LOVED 7th Heaven! It was one of my favorite shows. Maybe because I thought Matt was hot. Maybe because it was just such a fun little family show!
OMG I love this post!!! I totally wish Gilmore Girls was on Netflix but thankfully I own all 7 seasons and have been watching them nonstop lately (on season 3 now!). I wish it never went off the air.
And strangely enough, I wish 7th heaven was on Netflix as well…I totally watched it as a guilty pleasure and want to go to my library to see if its there.
Love Netflix! I haven’t seen any of the shows you mentioned above, but have heard of their popularity so I bet there’s loads of people who would second you.
Witches of East End, The Hills, and the full series of the OC. Really Netflix get it together!
They need more movies to, the movies they offer are crap.
I wish they would have more shows and movies in Netflix Latin America. US/Canada has so much more. There are a lot of telenovelas but I don’t really watch them.
Haha! Totally agree! Most old shows should be available for streaming on netflix! There are so many great shows I never watched or never completed. Would love to catch up.

Borthers and Sisters is on Netflix. And 7th Heaven is on Amazon Prime all 10 or 11 seasons of it! But I totally agree with you on the other shows!

GILMORE GIRLS for sure. Also, The Big Bang Theory! That’s one I’d LOVE to watch but it’s not on Netflix sooo….I can’t. It’s a problem.

Step by Step, Family Matters, Full House, Growing Pains, Matlock, Designing Women, Rizzoli and Isles and they need to put Monk back on!

I still watch 7th Heaven in syndication, so I don’t really miss it. I have to agree about Brothers & Sisters! That was a great show.

Brother’s and Sisters is on Netflix. I thought it was so I just checked and it is.

I have loved 5 for the longest time and Everwood was a great TV drama shame it got cancelled
We canceled our subscription when they just really didn’t have much we liked. Plus, we use Amazon streaming way more now.
