Happy Friday and happy first weekend of the school year to us! This weekend Liam has his first soccer game on his new team and we have a birthday party for one of our favorites! Other than that just relaxing and spending lots of family time together. But first, weekend reading.
Weekend Reading
What we’ve been up to: This was a BIG week! Liam and Charlotte stared school. This is Liam’s last year of preschool and Charlotte’s first. She is going 3 days and he goes 5. So 3 days a week I am on my own 8-3 and it’s so strange. I have had this tiny little shadow with me every day for 21 months. Tuesday is our busy day: Charlotte has ballet, speech, and Liam has soccer. Thursday is Charlotte and my fun day! Andrew and I were actually both able to get tons of work done this week which has been nice. We’ve mostly spent this week working on a new schedule and routine and everyone is THRIVING!

What are you up to this weekend?
This weekend, I want to spend time with my 6-year old. He recently graduated from pre school and is now in grade 1. And I want to spend some time with him, watch a Netflix movie, go to the park and just chill. I loved the 8 ways to financially prep for the holidays post. I found it handy because we are heading towards our summer and I knew I needed a plan but didn’t get a good enough one until that one.
