Happy Monday! How was everyones weekend? Ours was pretty great. Lots of relaxing time mixed with seeing friends and family and getting stuff done around the house.
Weekends are my favorite 🙂
Friday: Made it to my 4th pure barre class of the week, rand some errands and went on a trail walk with my friend and neighbor, Liz. When Andrew came home from work he made some homemade pizza and we ate and watched some DVR shows. I fell asleep pretty early after an exhausting week and TRIED to sleep in the next day.
Saturday: Woke up to some great text messages one was about the royal baby and the other that my best friends boyfriend was about to propose. He entrusted me with some solid info for 6 weeks 🙂 I woke up while Andrew still slept and went to get us donuts and Starbucks. I can’t remember if we have ever had donuts together. We usually eat super healthy so this was a treat for sure.
After that and after very exciting news from Ally that yes they are ENGAGED! We went out for a long trail walk for over an hour. So nice outside and so much fun exploring the trails in our new neighborhood.
We came back and showered, got ready and headed out to Crate and Barrel to use some wedding gift cards and get a few things we needed. Then we went to Sams and Central Market to get our weekly groceries. At CM there were a ton of beer and wine tastings all over the store so that was for sure a fun treat.
We came home and Andrew did some yard work while I watched TV. Then we got dressed and met some new friends for dinner at a local Tex Mex place, Frankies. It was delicious!
Once home we finally got to chat with Ally and Ted and hear their engagement story. We ended the night with a movie together.
Sunday was spent doing more work around the house, laundry, cleaning, and blogging for me.
We also went to see my dad and grandparents.
It was such a nice weekend and it makes me so excited for the upcoming months and all of the fun things weekends have planned.

At first I was thinking WAIT OMG NEELY YOU JUST TOLD THE WORLD ABOUT A PROPOSAL THAT DIDN’T HAPPEN YET AND YOUR BFF IS GONNA SEE IT. But then it happened so I literally sighed relief over here. Neely, this is unrelated to your blog post … but I saw on FB that you wanted to name your first girl Charlotte too!!! That is EXACTLY how I feel! Love the Princess’ name, but also sad that they took it!! haha!

I was in Miami for ten days and got home Saturday. It was divine making up for lost time with the hubs and that is all I am gonna write. 😉
