10 Things April 2024

I had a lot of random bits and pieces to share and I thought one brain dump post would be a good plan. I always love reading posts like this from other creators. This is just 10 things for April 2024 going on or in my head!

Bravo Shows: Why are Bravo shows just so good right now? This season of Summer House has been on of the best and The Valley has been so surprisingly good!

Rainy weather: It’s been raining A TON here lately. The downside is most of Charlotte’s soccer games have been canceled. Another downside is less walks outside for me. The upside is it’s very cozy. I won’t be mad when it stops though.

Walks: When have gotten to walk it’s been SO NICE! I have talked before about how good it is for my mental health when I get to do my outdoor walks everyday.

Therapy: Speaking of mental health I started with a new therapist. So far I really like her a lot. I have had a lot of trouble the past few years finding a good therapist so hoping this sticks.

Surprises: I have been thinking a lot lately about surprises. I love surprising people but I am 50/50 on how I feel about being surprised. I have tried to do more surprises for the kids lately even small ones.

Spring uniform: So far my spring uniform has been athletic dresses (a new favorite) or shorts and a t-shirt and I do not see this changing anytime soon.

Simple makeup: I got the Tarte fake awake after TikTok influenced me and it’s my new favorite simple makeup item. I know it’s not clean makeup but I still really like it. All about balance.

New handbag: I have been eyeing this handbag for months and FINALLY got my hands on it. I haven’t worn a shoulder bag in years and I really love it.

Show afternoons: The past week we had a lot of slow afternoons with the kids playing outside, doing side walk chalk and bubbles, jumping on the trampoline etc. It’s been so nice and beyond enjoyable for us all.

Caffeine: My caffeine intake is on a weird uptick. I have always been a 2 a day person but lately I have needed a third a lot of days which is weird for me.
