I love TV. I won’t lie. I am one of those people who could happily sit with a marathon of Grey’s Anatomy or a new season of Orange is the New Black for hours on end. Once I have my workout for the day done I am happy to binge my heart out while working on blog stuff or responding to emails. Sometimes I will do a craft or a DIY project or bake all with a few binge-worthy shows on hand. I have broken down my favorite binge-worthy shows for you guys and I am sharing them now! Some of these are newer shows that are still on TV and some are old classics you may or may not have watched.

For The High Schooler In You:

  • Gossip Girl (Netflix)
  • One Tree Hill (Netflix)
  • Secret Life of the American Teenager (Netflix)
  • Dawson’s Creek (Hulu)
  • Beverly Hills 90210 (Hulu)
  • The OC (Hulu)

For Those Family Oriented Moments:

  • Hart of Dixie (Netflix)
  • Parenthood (Netflix)
  • Gilmore Girls (Netflix)
  • Party of Five (Hulu)

Guilty Pleasures:

  • Vanderpump Rules (Hulu)
  • Teen Mom-both! (Hulu)
  • Keeping Up With The Kardashians (Hulu)
  • Jersey Shore (Hulu)
  • Catfish (Hulu)

All The Drama:

  • Grey’s Anatomy (Netflix)
  • Scandal (Netflix)
  • The Good Wife (Hulu)
  • Bloodlines (Netflix)
  • Breaking Bad (Netflix)
  • House of Cards (Netflix)
  • Empire (Hulu)
  • The Path (Hulu)
  • Thirtysomething (Hulu)

Laugh Till You Cry:

  • Friends (Netflix)
  • How I Met Your Mother (Netflix)
  • Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt (Netflix)
  • OrangeΒ is the New Black (Netflix)

Okay, so obviously there are TONS more, but these are my go to shows. Yes I watch a lot of TV, but isn’t that the great thing about binge-worthy shows? You don’t have to load up a DVR or even watch them when they are on. All you have to do is pick a show and lay out on the couch all day some rainy Sunday. I personally could rewatch a lot of these over and over again, and they are great to have on when you just need to veg out!

What are your favorite binge-worthy shows?

My hubby and I LOVE binge-watching Netflix. We are currently “re-binging” How I Met Your Mother”. We’ve binged multiple times on The Office, Parks and Rec, and HIMYM, and we also really like Royal Pains, 30 rock, and Friends. When its just me watching, I love crime dramas πŸ™‚

    2. Shann

Great lists! Also for the high schooler, Pretty Little Liars is super addictive. I love House of Cards, Bloodline, and The Path. I also keep up with Scandal every week, and I love the Shonda’s new show, I think it’s called The Chase? Oh! And Jane the Virgin is funny, ridiculous, and super addicting.

    3. Ashley

I love all of these!! I used to have Hulu but cancelled it, but I desperately want to watch the OC (I never watched it when it aired) and am considering opening my account again!

    4. Tanya

I’m obsessed with re-runs of ‘Friends’ at the moment! I could watch for hours on end.. So many more things you pick up on watching second time around!

    5. jessica

I would add Jessica Jones on Netflix. SO SO GOOD. There is only one season so far, but it’s a great show…even if you’re not super into Marvel like we are in my house.

    6. Monica

It’s funny how different we are. I’m not a TV watcher. My husband is a news junkie and I get so tired of hearing the TV in the background. I can honestly say that the only show on your list that I’ve watched is Friends and that is a bit scary! I’m off to a conference this week so I’ll take your list and indulge myself. Let’s see if I can get into the binge…

Alright, so I can’t really speak on Gossip Girl or Gilmore Girls πŸ™‚ … but we pretty much have a binge-worthy TV match. My wife and I even like to let some shows build up so we can watch a few at time. This works for pretty much everything (which is why Netflix is so awesome) … with the exception of Game of Thrones: that’s just must-see TV in real time. Haha

I binge watch so much on Netflix, its so awesome. I wish canada had the option for Hulu though, sadly we don’t and theres so much I’d like to watch.

    9. Megan Gonzalez

I would definitely categorize Gossip Girl as a guilty pleasure lol. If you like Friends and How I Met Your Mother, I suggest checking out Rules of Engagement. It had me rolling!

We were travelling for 2 years (without a TV) and when we got back, we spent an entire week in front of the TV watching all seasons of Breaking Bad and most of Orange is the new Black (although the latter was only any fun in the first series). Our TV fest was only put on pause for family and friends visiting of which there were many after 2 years away! We got that TV thing of our systems after that marathon and we’ve barely watched TV since. Soooo much to explore outside.

So many of these are my favourite shows that I watch over and over again! I’m similar to you in the sense that I like to have something on the TV in the background when I’m doing things around the house or checking emails. Recently I’ve been really into New Girl which is on Shomi… But I just realized that I’m not sure if Shomi is available outside Canada?

Thanks for this list! We have been in a rut lately by always having HIMYM or Friends on in the background. I am currently rewatching Greys.

    13. Tiffany Griffin

Love this list. My husband and I love binge watching shows on Netflix. I’ve actually watched a lot of the shows you mentioned here. Teen mom is definitely my guilty pleasure. πŸ™‚

    14. Crystal // Dreams, etc.

I went through Scandal really fast. It was kind of sad! But not, because it was a lot of fun. πŸ™‚ I’ve been watching Charmed a lot lately and it’s been fun to rewatch that show. It’s definitely a binge-worthy one for me. πŸ™‚

    15. Tiffany VanSickle

My husband and I have watched the whole season of Burn Notice probably 5 times… It’s just SO GOOD! We’ve also watched Parks & Rec and The Office multiple times. White Collar and Hawaii 5-0 are other favorites of mine!!!

    16. Mistle

I love having binge worthy netflix sessions. I will probably do that this weekend. I figured I need to catch up on old tv shows that I never finished watching. All great picks for the shows you mentioned!

    17. Hannah Adkins

OMG Gossip girl was a total guilty pleasure for me. I don’t know why, but I totally got sucked in and really binged lol. Chuck and Blair forever! LOL. Great list, girl!

    18. Lauren Jane

I’m currently making my way through NCIS and I just LOVE it so much. But the second OITNB comes out….that’s on my television until I’m done!!

    19. Sarah

Girl. YES! I am obsessed with The O.C. I am reliving my high school days! I also love Hart of Dixie! We have also been really into the “crime” shows like White Collar and Prison Break!

    20. Donnica

Yes to everything on this list. I’ve been watching Drop Dead Diva and looove it. Also, Jane the Virgin, New Girl and the Mindy Project.

    21. Dia All The Things I Do

We are pretty much on the same page except on the guilty pleasures. I feel like secret life is my guilty pleasure because it’s sooooo bad but so good lol This is an awesome list. I could watch greys, one tree hill and gilmore girls all day every day

    22. Pam

I love lists like these. You’ve picked out so many great ones. I will be coming back to this list when I finish my current binge of Heartland (highly recommend it!).

    23. Elizabeth Edgar

Oh, now I have more shows I need to watch on Netflix! Thank you! I enjoy How I Met Your Mother, but I’ve never watched from the beginning.

For the High Schooler in me, I enjoy watching The Fosters and Pretty Little Liars.

    24. CourtneyLynne

Great list!!!! Gossip Girl is my absolute favorite show!!! I could binge watch it over and over!
