Black Friday Plans

How was everyone’s Thanksgiving? Did your team win? Did you eat tons of pie? Well now it’s time for Black Friday, or as I call it Gilmore Girls Day! Today I am sharing my Black Friday plans and I would love to know what you guys plans are!

Black Friday Plans

Black Friday Plans

First things first I have to get some coffee so off to Starbucks I go for a red cup! Cause you guys, it’s Christmas season and the red cups are a MUST!

Next I am hunkering down on my couch with my super soft Pottery Barn blankets, comfy PJs, and fuzzy socks. It’s time for NETFLIX and GILMORE GIRLS!!! Yes the new Gilmore Girls is out today!!!! It came out at midnight PST but you guys I am not about that 2 AM life of waking up to watch Gilmore Girls no matter how much I love it. I can assure you though that it was the first thing I remembered when I woke up this morning.

Am I shopping today? YOU BETCHA! But online because, fun fact the same sales are online. I mean sure some stores may have in store specials but for the most part anything I plan to buy has the same online sales. Last year I wanted a mug from Anthropologie and they had it on sale in store and online same price. So Amazon, Jcrew, Anthropologie, Madewell, Gap, Banana Republic, Old Navy those are my go to places for good Black Friday sales.

Leftovers? YES! I plan to have some leftovers with Andrew later today but in honor of Gilmore Girls my lunch will be pizza 🙂

Other than that I plan to squeeze in a workout, do some cleaning, and start wrapping a few Christmas presents!

Also yesterday was 28 weeks of pregnancy! Baby boy is cookin!

What are your Black Friday plans?

  1. Haha. I am one of the 2AMers. I have to finish it before we leave for our camping trip in less than an hour.

  2. I enjoy a good online shopping. The weather is a big horrible here in Canada. I do want to wish you a happy Thanksgiving though!

That sounds like a perfect day. I’m working today, but keeping an eye on Amazon. There’s nothing I want yet though so my bank account is undamaged! I’ve heard so much about Gilmore Girls but never seen it. I’m going to have to watch it to see what all the fuss is about 🙂

  4. Sounds like a lovely way to spend Black Friday. After spending the week cooking in the kitchen i’m snuggled up on my couch with my puppy and blankets, watching Hallmark movies and on line shopping, too! I’ve got no plans of moving from here until my husband gets off work today. Then we’re going to pick out our Christmas tree!

  5. I have to work today still, but I get to work from home which meant a little extra time to get in an episode of Gilmore Girls before I needed to start working. Now I’m counting down until work is done so I can get cozy with some tea and watch more. 🙂

Black Friday isn’t as big a thing here in Canada since we don’t have Thanksgiving this month so for me this day is known only as Gilmore Girls day! I’m torn because I don’t want to watch it all at once after waiting for so long, but I also don’t want to stumble across any spoilers on the internet

Black Friday isn’t really a big deal in Canada, it’s started to trickle over to our stores but nothing like it is in the US. The deals and fun I see over there I’ll admit I’d like to be a part of. Today I worked on some posts, and hung out with my little girl who is having a hard time being away from mommy at the moment!

Our Black Friday tradition includes a family trip to the Mall. We generally walk around, check out some stores. If the deal is really good we may purchase. It is pretty much a laid back day for us.

Despite the great deals online, I still enjoy going out on Black Friday to shop. It’s fun to be in the mix and race through stores with my best friend, coffee in hand.

Sounds good! I love that book by the way. My Black Friday plans consisted of sitting at home and shopping small businesses.

I didn’t do anything on Black Friday other than coach gymnastics. I used to love going shopping but here it isn’t the same.

I think you are doing the best to make use of the Black Friday in a perfect way. I don’t love to visit stores at this time and I always prefer Amazon for the best deals that I could grab!

I worked and shopped on Black Friday running on only 4 hours of sleep, but it was so worth it.
