I do not plan to have a post up tomorrow because it’s Thanksgiving and I am spending the day with my husband and extended family. So today, the day before Thanksgiving I want to share what I am thankful for this year. I would love to know what you guys are thankful for as well.

Thankful For
My health. I know this seems weird to start with but I had a few concerning health problems before getting pregnant. I have talked of my struggles with POTS and EDS before. These are things that could have really been hard during pregnancy but I have thankfully kept them under control. I am so thankful for that.
My husband. I really feel like I hit the husband lottery. Andrew is kind, smart, funny, handsome, charming, organized, hardworking, and a damn good cook. Those are just a FEW of his great qualities. I know he is going to be an amazing dad to our little boy in 12 or less weeks! He has taken the best care of me through infertility and pregnancy. He has gone above and beyond to make sure I am comfortable and that everything is taken care of. I am so blessed to have him.
My parents. My parents set such an amazing example of being hard workers. They are so fun, caring, lovable and amazing people. I truly love spending time with them both and count them both as two of my best friends. I can tell them anything, and they are nothing but supportive of everything we do. They will make AMAZING grandparents.
My in laws and extended family. Andrew and I both come from great families. We love spending time with his family in Houston and my family here in Dallas. We are truly blessed with amazing extended families and I am blessed with amazing in laws, brother in laws, a sister in law, and Andrew’s grandma whom I adore.
My job. Some people laugh at full time bloggers thinking that we do nothing all day. I won’t get into that as I have written about my day to day work life before. I am so blessed and thankful to wake up everyday and do what I love. As Steve Jobs said “the only way to do great work is to love what you do.” I LOVE what I do. I love sharing my life through my blog, helping other bloggers, and working with brands. I am beyond lucky.
My friends. I have the best friends in the world. I know everyone says that, but I truly feel like I do. They are all special, different, wonderful, and kind. The people I am close with truly bring out the very best in me, and I hope I bring out the very best in them.
Our baby boy. Last but CERTAINLY not least, I am so so so thankful for our baby boy, Liam. We have wanted him for so long and prayed so hard for him. We are anxiously awaiting his arrival in February and feel so blessed to be his parents. It was a hard road to get to Liam, but we couldn’t imagine it any other way.
There are so many other things I am thankful for, but I will stop here for this year.
What are you thankful for?
Fabulous way to say thank you. A small token of appreciation goes a long way. This makes it so easy. I love this idea! I will definitely be using this.
You have so many things to be thankful for!! I’m thankful for many of the same things (minus the baby, but I said my pups.) I hope you have a happy Thanksgiving!
First off, congrats on the pregnancy!
I’m thankful for my family – I have 2 boys who may drive me crazy most of the time but are my reason for existing, a husband who is there for me when I really need him and parents (in-laws included) who are willing to do anything to help us.
I love this! I can really see your love for all of these things and people. 🙂 I’m thankful for my husband, both our families, and our little one that’s due in April! God is so good! 🙂
That’s so lovely. I am thankful for everything I have. Couldn’t ask for more 🙂
I’ve been dealing with a lot of health things myself, but I am so thankful that I’m working through it and as such, LEARNING new things about myself, my body and how to find health.
I’m also so thankful for my family and their complete support during one of the hardest years of my life.
Awwww, what a beautiful, sweet list <3 I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving this year and I love how excited you both are to be parents 🙂 What an incredible blessing! XOXO
So many wonderful things to be thankful for! Happy Thanksgiving 🙂
Nothing changes one’s life like counting blessings! Hope you and yours have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

What a lovely post, Neely! Wishing you and your loved ones a Happy Thanksgiving!
This is a special post 🙂 So much to be thankful for! Liam is also a lucky boy to have such a loving mama!
I love taking the time to think about the things I’m thankful for. This is usually such a challenging time of year for us given that we live thousands of miles away from family. But there’s still so much to be thankful for 🙂 I hope your family has an amazing Thanksgiving together!
I’m super thankful I have my fiance back and my friends home for the holidays! <3
I simply love Thanksgiving. The one very important and special holiday that gets lost on the radar of many. I am once again reminded of the many blessings around me. Foremost God in heaven who is always there. My husband and son. (I became a Mom at 35). A true blessing from above, and one that reminds me daily when zi am graced by Cameron’s presence. My extended family-scattered all over. My friends, both local and out of the area. My sweet dog Dixie who survived a major surgery 8 months ago. My health and overall being able to thrive day to day amist arthritic pain, but not having to rely on medicine. I am blessed to once again find myself at home this time of year out of work, yet not having to scramble for a job. In as much as a second income is a positive aspect..I find myself a little older and aiming for a work at home opportunity. It will take time I know, but will come in due time. Having worked outside the home off and on since 1982, it is a change I will welcome with bated breath. Wishing you and your family a beautiful Thanksgiving. Congratulations on your baby boy Liam’s soon to be arrival. A grateful heart- “Thank you”… the shortest prayer, not just during Thanksgiving, but for every single day:)
