Hands down my favorite posts to read or write are anything with random snippets of what people are doing, loving, etc. This is a pretty random round-up of things I’m currently loving for the month but it’s good stuff!
Currently Loving: July 2022
Peacock TV: So I have no idea when we got this on our TV but I am obsessed. It has every Bravo show and a few other fun things. I have been loving it!
Tennis skirts: As with most things I was a late adapter to the tennis skirts. Honestly though they are so cute and fun to wear. Especially in these insanely hot temps!
Every Summer After: Yeah this needed its own shout-out! Every Summer After by Carly Fortune. Honestly, I think it’s my favorite book I have read in 2022. Gives me a lot of Love and Other Words vibes. But seriously so good!
Maggie on Hulu: If you are looking for a feel-good romcom TV show this is it! Think a psychic see’s her own future accidentally and figures out the guy she’s going to end up with.
Salads: Every summer when it gets too hot to function I lean into salads. I just can’t manage to cook much and salads are SO refreshing!
Saie Beauty: Saie sent me a bunch of new products to try and I have been loving them all. Especially loving the cream bronzer!
Lit Chicks Chat: Recently discovered Lauren McBride’s podcast and book Instagram and I am obsessed! If you are a book lover you need to check it out ASAP!
Day Dates: Not only with Andrew but with girlfriends. Recently had a fun day date with 3 of my girlfriends and we were all home by 7. Honestly, this may be my ideal situation.
Amazon Drawer Dividers: These are SO SO SO GOOD! I got a ton for the kids’ dressers and my own and the difference this has made is insane! They are pretty well priced and really make your dressers look a ton better.
Indoor walks: We have had record temps in Dallas of 105+ days for over a month so outdoor walks have taken a backseat. I have been meeting friends for indoor early morning mall walks and it’s honestly the best.
I am loving July too. For some reason, this has been one of my best Julys in years. I am watching great shows on Peacock too. My husband and I had a week of day dates while our boys were in summer camp. We went on a cruise. I am getting a ton of work done but at the same time enjoying every minute of July.
I love day dates as well. I really enjoy my personal time at home in the evenings so do better when I can be home to get the kids to bed and relax. I was just in Dallas this past weekend for a conference and it wasn’t too bad outdoors in the evening, it was hot but not as humid as it is here in Houston. The only way we spend time outdoors right now is in the water!
