Whenever someone does a blog post about their favorite things I always love reading them. It’s such a fun way to get to know someone. Today I figured I would do a blog post on some of my all time favorite things!
Favorite Drink: Coffee 🙂 Well to be specific I enjoy nonfat lattes
Favorite Food: Andrews pizza for sure. He makes homemade pizza(dough included) every Friday night. It has become our weekly tradition over the past few years.
Favorite Song: Just Like Heaven by The Cure
Favorite Band: Counting Crows or Avett Brothers they are equally loved in my heart.
Favorite Book: Forever by Judy Blume and Frannie and Zooey by J.D. Salinger
Favorite Current TV Show: Dance Moms…sad but true also Scandal and Hindsight
Favorite Past TV Show: Everwood
Favorite Magazine: Glamour and Fast Company
Favorite Snack: Smoothies
Favorite Guilty Pleasure Song: Motown Philly by Boyz 2 Men
Favorite Accessory: Any of my purses
Favorite Clothing Item: Wonder Under leggings from lululemon
I love this! My favorite snack is any type of cookie, favorite past TV show is Buffy, and favorite song is Blow Away by Carrie Underwood!! Yay!! Great post!
Pizza is our Saturday night tradition (though ours is takeout from our favorite local place). And my iTunes is full of Counting Crows music. Boyz 2 Men! Goodness that takes me back 🙂
I think the only Salinger I’ve read is The Catcher in the Rye, I’ll have to add Franny and Zooey to my list!
I forgot about Everwood! I used to watch that show in middle school/high school. I can barely remember what it’s about now. I’m gonna try and find it on Netflix now… =)
Ha! I love Dance Moms too. I am a real-life dance mom, actually. I also wrote a blog post about it, ha ha! One of my favorite things is your blog title. I use that as my motto for every day that doesn’t go as planned! Cheers!
Can’t live without my cup of joe! Dance Moms–love it, but what a train wreck. My mother never acted that way. I hope that’s not what we have to look forward to when my daughter starts dancing!

Ahh Counting Crows. Music of my childhood. You know I was talking with a 23 year old last week that ‘hated 90s music’ and didn’t know who Counting Crows was. Made me so sad. I recommended she immediately go home and put on a flannel shirt with stretchy pants (that part has come back around at least) and listen to Counting Crows, Hootie and the Blowfish, Pearl Jam, the Cranberries, 10,000 Maniacs and Sheryl Crow’s original album immediately.
Love your tradition of pizza!! Will Andrew share his recipe? We do a grilled pizza that is a summer treat totally worth the time!
Favorite Movie: anything Jim Gaffigan
Favorite accessory definitely purse! I scored big time at Nordstrom Rack down in the city, finding a little black patent leather Kate Spade cross body that I have LOVED!
Favorite 2 books “Hannah Coulter” by Wendell Berry, and “Daughter of the Land” by Gene Stratton Porter (I did no housework for three days I was so consumed!)
Fun fact: I used to live in Ogden, UT where they filmed Everwood. We used to go to this restaurant on 25th Street that served as Main Street and watch them filming. Good times.
I love this post. Well done Andrew on the Pizza. I love your taste in music. My favorite is tea never coffee. Gave it up when I got my teeth whitened and do not miss it as it made me nuts. Life is so much more relaxed and pleasant without coffee. My favorite show is Orphan Black (if you have not seen it you must do a marathon now) I insist. You and Andrew will love it. Homeland and The Americans. Gave up all magazines last year. Favorite book Wild by Cheryl Strayed. Because it is the ultimate women’s story and never have a read one better that describes grief of a daughter and recovery from a Mother’s death then her writing. Its the best book !!!!!! You must read it.
Favorite music is Sara Barielles, Coldplay and Evanescence. All music from Army Wives show. Yes I have it all on a playlist and its fabulous.
Favorite accessory all my Moms pearl jewelry I wear always for every day because wearing it all is like taking her with me every day.
Favorite clothing is JC Penny Tee’s * I own every color x 5 ) and work out leggings with Sketchers I wear every day.
Fav guilty pleasure is the The Hill’s marathons and Friends. I am not sorry!
For me, it’s Law & Order SVU. I’ve seen every episode of every season and there are like 15 seasons! It’s so bad, I can’t look away even though it’s story after story of child abuse or assault. hahahaha I am hooked.
This whole homemade pizza every Friday night thing sounds amazeballs. You can bet there’s going to be a new tradition sprouting up in my household soon…(:
