Healthy Skin Skincare Routine 2018

I have shared a few skincare routines before, but as someone who gets to try out a lot of new products, my routine can change up from time to time. So currently I am using a mix of products, but I refer to this as my Healthy Skin Skincare Routine 2018 edition! I hope you enjoy and find some new products!

Healthy Skin Skincare Routine 2018


In the morning 3 days a week I use the Dr. Brandt Microdermabrasion exfoliator. I wash my face with the Tata Harper regenerating cleanser every day. Then I spritz with the Fresh rose toner. Once that dries I use the Ole Henricksen truth serum which is great for mornings. I feel like it wakes up my face! I then use the First Aid Beauty sunscreen moisturizer with SPF 40. It’s extremely important to always have an SPF on your face. Then I use the Fresh sport lip balm which has SPF as well. Don’t forget SPF on your lips!


In the evening I wash my face with the Elemis dynamic resurfacing face wash. I really love how my skin feels and how it feels after! Then I use the Fresh rose toner again. I use the Fresh rose serum at night always. I dab my under eyes with Kiehls creamy eye treatment with avocado. I use the Origins night-a-mins oil free cream. On my neck I use the First Aid Beauty sleeping cream. I then use then Tata Harper be true lip treatment!

Masks I am using:

I am rotating between a few masks right now weekly. After travel I always use the Summer Fridays jet lag mask. I love that this masks stays on – you don’t rinse it off, you just let it soak into your skin. It’s thicker with a moisturizer consistency. Sometimes I use the Origins clear improvement active charcoal mask. I feel like I have to listen to my skin and just see what it needs. A few times a week I use my favorite mask which is the Tata Harper resurfacing mask. I can’t tell you how unbelievable your skin feels after!


I am also about 13 months into getting monthly facials. For those interested in the DFW area I go to Fresh Faces. Marilee is amazing and does whatever my skin needs that day. Sometimes it’s a hydrafacial and sometimes it’s an enzyme facial which does wonders for my skin especially after travel!       Great morning and evening routine. I’ve really started to be intentional about my routine in the last couple of years. I love OleHenricksen. I use the C‑Rush Brightening Gel Crème and love it. I need to check out the truth serum. How long have you been using it? Can you tell a difference?

      You have a lot to your skin care routine. I basically just use a face wash and moisturizer. However, with my age, I am thinking I need to do more.
