Happy June friends! It’s summertime! We had an awesome month of May and I am so excited for June! So many fun things on the agenda for this summer. YAY! Today I am sharing my June Goals and also reflecting on what I did (or didn’t) accomplish in May!
June Goals
In May I wanted to…
- Find a summer swim class for Liam: We are starting a baby class in 2 weeks and he will start actual lessons in August!
- Have Liam meet Andrew’s grandma: It was such a sweet moment when they met. We loved our visit in Houston!
- Work on Liam’s baby book: Yep! Glad I am still keeping up with this!
- Find something creative for my mom for Mother’s Day: Not creative but I got her things she loves.
- Have 2 dates with Andrew outside of the house: WE FINALLY HAD A DAAAATE! My mom watched Liam and we had a Sunday afternoon date. We may have gone to Buy Buy Baby first, but we still got a lunch date in after!
- Keep up with my W’s (walks, workouts, Weight Watchers): Yes I am doing great! **patting myself on the back** 🙂
- Do an updated Weight Watchers post and Barre post: Working on them!
- Work on Pinterest growth: Yes Pinterest is going great!
- Write posts through July: Working on August posts 🙂
In June I want to…
- Read 2 books
- Have 2 dates with Andrew
- Write posts through August
- Keep up with workouts, walks and Weight Watchers (as always)
- Finalize plans for our Chicago trip
- Have a fun and relaxing Father’s Day with Andrew and my dad
- Clean out closet/drawers
- Find a fun class for Liam for the fall (aside from swimming)
- Work on my Twitter growth
- Get more current photos framed

I get most of my traffic from Pinterest, but I think there is more I could be doing. I need to sit down and work on mine, too.
June is my birthday month (its actually today, so I claim the whole month as mine, ha!), so I tend to make a whole lot of big goals in June. But this year we’re super busy with four kids in baseball which isn’t leaving time for much. A big goal for me is to start shifting my income away from client-based work and into more content-production.
This month I plan to post 4 times on my blogs and create dory videos. I also need to brainstorm my next product launch.
Congrats on your success with Weight Watchers – they’re a great program. Just be careful you don’t blow it out of the water when you get to Chicago. There are SOOO many great things to eat there. When we go (my husband is from the area) we always have to get deep dish Chicago pizza and beef&sausage sandwiches.
Awesome job on the three W’s! Good luck keeping up with it during June. You got this 🙂
Nice going last month, awesome! My goal this month is to finally become an organized blogger. I’m gonna go out this evening to buy a big notebook, create my own planner and put everything in. See how that will work for me!
I love this post! There are many things in June I want to do – more knitting, more hiking, and completing the ASPCA Virtual 5K to name a few. We post a monthly printable calendar – I think I might want to add some goals to it going forward!
Great job on your goals in May and I love the ones you’ve set for June. What an awesome idea to put date nights on this list. I might steal that idea!
Wow, you set a good amount of goals! That’s great. I like to keep it simple, and set one or two overarching ones–I want to finish the update on my website, and I want to cut back on sugar intake!
So inspiring to read how you set and keep up with your monthly goals! My goals for June include reading as many books as possible (I’m a school teacher and am out for summer break – yay!), sitting on my porch in the morning with my sister and our cups o’ coffee, traveling to OK to visit my aging parents, working ahead on my blog.
You did such a great job with May’s goals. You truly are inspiring for following through. I always have the best of intentions then end up falling short. I’ve got a stack of books that I want to finish reading this month. We’re also packing our house to move so i’m going to be a busy lady. If I can stay on top of all that and blogging, i’ll be happy.
Yay, go you with the W’s! That’s so awesome 🙂 And I’m so glad you guys were able to get some alone time without the baby! (Though that must have been challenging to do!)
Yay for sticking to your goals! June is going to be a great month for you–have fun cleaning out your closets! My hubby and I just did that. It felt SO good to get rid of things! xx, Kristen @ A Classy Fashionista
I need to set more concrete, short term goals like this. You’re rocking them!
These are very practical goals to reach for the month good luck with them!
We have a summer park program that our older two kids love going to. I like that we live 2 minute walking wise from the park, so it’s a quick walk. We have vacation in July!
You go girl! Good luck with your goals this month.
Love these goals! I have a goal to read 5 books this month, what will you be reading?
Good luck with your June goals, I am certain you will reach them all. Love that you hold yourself accountable by sharing your goals online. Perfect way to inspire others and get stuff done!
I love that you put them in writing. It’s a great way to stay on track and really reflect on your growth each month.
I love your goal setting each month! I have worked on mine quarterly, but this I may just start doing too!! yay!
This is a good idea for accountability!
My goals include a lot of relaxing (this will be my first real break from work/school in over a year), blogging and family time!
I’m very impressed with all the things you’ve been able to keep up with – esp the date nights! A trip to Chicago sounds like so much fun. Such a great city to explore!
Yay for dates with the husband! My June goals are to read 2 books (I’m currently reading Present Not Perfection) and to bring my daughter to the duck pond to feed the ducks!
I would love to grow my Pinterest and schedule blog posts through the next month. I would also love to art journal more. Good luck on your goals!
I want to find a class for my toddler as well. That’s so incredible you are able to write posts that far in advance.
Ooh Chicago. I haven’t been in about 2 years but I love that city . Good luck with your June goals Neely.
We just purchased a house. So right now my June goal is to get make sure our move goes as smooth as possible and to get started on some of the remodeling projects on our list.
Love the ideas of setting personal goals every month, I need to start doing that!
Date nights are so important! That’s an awesome goal! Congrats on your May goals!
Great job on your goals last month!!! So happy you got a date night in!!! Hopefully you’ll get some date nights in this month as well! Good luck with your goals this month.
A Chicago trip sounds like so much fun! I need to print a bunch of photos and get them off of my phone. I’m hoping to do yearly photo books too!
