Happy March! Hard to believe we are almost through with winter. Can I get an Amen? Before we jump into the month I want to share my March 2019 goals as well as what all I got done in February.
March 2019 Goals
In February I wanted to…
- Read 4 books: I read 3 it was a hard month with birthdays and sicknesses.
- Work on playroom clean out: YES YES YES! We went through all of Liam’s toys and I have a post on toddler toy organization coming up.
- Work on spare room closet: Yes this was a huge join effort. Andrew built and installed some shelving and we organized all the crap in there. We put some things in the attic and a lot got thrown out and donated.
- Take 2 yoga classes: FAIL 🙁
- Walk outside when we can: We did a few walks but the weather was so crappy!
- Finish planning spring blog content: I got a lot planned and I am so exciting for upcoming posts.
- Limit wine to once a week: I only had one glass the entire month!
- Have at least one date with Andrew: We really tried but honestly I was sick most of the month. We were supposed to have one this past weekend but again I was sick so we settled for lots of at home dates.
- Take Liam to do something new for him for his birthday: We went out for ice cream on his birthday, not new though. We did plan a fun activity for the Friday after but he was under the weather. So hopefully we can do it soon.
In March I want to…
- Read 5 books (we have a trip planned so I should be able to)
- Unplug a ton on our vacation — at least try to not open my laptop
- Take Liam on a fun Dallas adventure
- Clean out our guest room closet
- Have at least one date with Andrew other than our vacation
- Finish spring blog content
- Focus on Instagram story content more
- Post more consistently to Instagram
- Grow Pinterest to 28K followers
What is one of your March 2019 goals?
Happy March! You’ve done well in February – much better than I have, that’s for sure! I hope to start posting more consistently on Instagram as well this month. 🙂

I love these goals. I’d love to grow my Pinterest as well. Having date nights with my husband more often was definitely something I am trying to achieve more of as well.
Sounds like you did pretty well in February, other than being sick. I hope you are feeling better now and can have your date night with hubby soon.
They say it is only a wish unless it is written down. One of my goals for the month of March is to write and schedule my April posts for the April A to Z Blogging Challenge. That way I won’t stress as much each day as the posts will be already written.
Ugh I have got to get out of my winter slump. I want to clean out all our closets but the winter has been depressing me and I haven’t wanted to get my booty in gear.
I haven’t really gotten down to writing monthly goals, but this gives me an idea that i should start making this a thing.
I love that you have unplug during your vacation. I love unplugging and usually decide to do it by deleting social media apps off my phone for that duration. It’s hard though. Hope you are feeling better! Three books is still awesome.
My goals went sideways in February because I too was sick with round 2 of a virus. One of my goals for March is to plan content for April.
Loads of goals there to try and achieve. Well done on the wine one. One glass in the whole month is really good going. Hope you can keep it up in March.
I love the idea of having a list of things you want to do for that month. I am definitely a list person and it is nice to have goals! These are great things that you tried to fit into February.
I cannot believe it is March already! Time really goes by so fast, whether or not you are having fun. Haha. Anyway, I wish you all the best this month, and hopefully you get to meet all the goals you have set for yourself and your family.
Hope you continue to feel better. March is a great quarter month as it augurs the coming changes in seasons. I look at it as a time to regroup and refresh.
I hope you have a fantastic vacation! I can’t wait to read your post on toddler organization. One of my goals is to reorganize my toddlers room. 😀
Aw happy March to you too. I hope that you at least manage to fit a date in with Andrew xx
Good luck on your goals for the coming month. I hope to do some more with my Instagram as well. I know it will help with growth. I just need to get better at it.
This is inspiring! Especially the unplugging and the reading more! I need to work on our playroom too!
Ooooo so many awesome goals!!! I always try to stay as unplugged as possible when on vacation with the family!

My main March goal is get back into a regular fitness pattern. I am starting to walk at the gym on the indoor track when it is too rainy/snowy/cold outside.
I love the whole idea of this. I would love to start a monthly goals list to help stay accountable. Great idea.
What a great post! I love how you acknowledge the month that it was and set goals for the next month! Social media seems like an endless task so scheduling works great for me! Have a great MARCH!
