What You Need For Labor Day

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Chobani. All opinions are 100% mine.

How is it Labor Day Weekend already?? We area heading to Houston to see our new baby niece and could not be more excited! We will be back just in time to enjoy some Labor Day festivities and celebrate the end of summer. I wanted to share what you need for Labor Day to ensure you are ready!

Sunscreen: No matter what you are doing, make sure you have sunscreen on. In some areas of the country it may be cooling down, but that sun is strong. Protect your skin and lather on the sunscreen. You may want to end the summer with a beachy glow, but no one likes sunburns.

Great poolside/BBQ snack: Heading to a BBQ? A Pool Party? Or just your own back yard? No matter what your plans are, never show up empty handed. I have the perfect snack idea for you guys. I was recently introduced to Chobani Meze Dips! As a lover of any Chobani product I have ever tried, I knew this would be no different! I picked up 3 different flavors to try. I picked up Three Pepper Salsa, Chili Lime, and Smoked Onion and Parmesan. They are all delicious and perfect to pair with chips or crackers for a poolside or BBQ snack! Or if you’re like me, also great to have at home for an afternoon snack! You can find them at Target, Walmart, and Meijer stores! My favorite way to enjoy them is with Blue Corn Chips. DELICIOUS! Want to try them yourself? Grab this coupon.

Great Music: My go to for new/fabulous music lately is Spotify! I also really love the No Shoes radio station on XM. Perfect for relaxing outside and pretty appealing to everyone.

Good Reads: Planning on hanging out by the pool? Relaxing on your couch? Either way it’s a great time to snag some new reads. I love long holiday weekends for reading some new books or catching up on magazines. Enjoy the downtime!

I would love to know what you need for Labor Day weekend to make it perfect? Share below!

I LOVE dips. Is that weird? It’s always my go-to, leave-me-on-a-desserted-island-with-dips-and-chips-and-guacamole-and-I’ll-be-happy-forever-food 🙂 Thanks for sharing. These dips by Chobani sound delicious! Have a great long weekend!

  11. I LOVE Chobani! And not even just because it’s what I had for breakfast. Have you read about the founder at all?! They’re such a charitable and amazing company, and he gave away HALF of his personal wealth (estimated 1.4 billion) to aid in the Syrian refugee crisis!!

My family has a brunch “picnic” every Labor Day. When we were younger, we also had a water balloon toss. and while we haven’t done that in YEARS, I would still say water balloons!

Labor Day used to be one of my favorite long weekends but since we moved to Norway it isn’t really on my radar anymore. I wish we still needed sunscreen here but Fall is here.

  27. My weekend was/is a combination of football and working. Today is the day I’m really buckling down but as a Texan and I am a little sad I’m not getting any BBQ.
