Travel Bucket List

One thing that was pretty clear when Andrew and I met was that we both loved to travel. We have been lucky enough to visit some pretty great places together in our nearly 7 years together. But obviously having kids and having one of those kids be in school and being pregnant has put a bit of a damper on travel this year. This year is the least amount of travel I’ve done in the past 10 years! So it seemed like a good time to share my travel bucket list. Some of these places I’ve been to alone but want to visit with Andrew and some we’ve never visited!

Travel Bucket List

United States:

  • Seattle, Washington (I’ve been but not with Andrew)
  • Napa (we’ve been but I would love to go again and for longer)
  • Outerbanks, NC
  • Miami, FL
  • Fredericksburg, TX (I’ve been but not with Andrew)
  • Disney World (I haven’t been since I was 15)
  • Boston, MA
  • Maine
  • Newport, RI
  • Alaska for a cruise
  • Hawaii (we’ve been to Kona but I would love to go to Maui and Kauai)

International:

  • London
  • Paris (I’ve been but not since high school)
  • All over Italy
  • Barcelona
  • Prague
  • Ireland
  • Greece
  • Toronto
  • Cabo San Lucas
  • Mexico City
  • Morocco
  • South Africa
  • Australia

Who knows if we will see all of these places but a few of them we’ve talked about and have an idea of when we will go visit them. There are also a lot of places on this list I would love to take our kids when they are older. Liam has visited quite a few places in the US in his first 2 years already!

What is one place on your travel bucket list?

You should definitely go to London, its my favourite city in the UK and I am excited as I have just booked our flights to go in November (child free) for a long weekend. There are so many places in the world that my bucket list is ridiculous but Italy is definitely on there, Croatia (we just went this Summer but would like to go back and explore more), The Maldives, Holland, Belgium and Germany. Both my husband and I have been to Belgium and Holland but want to take our daughter there to show her where her mum spent most of her misspent youth and my husband spent a lot of his 20s in Germany so would like to show us his favourite places. Oh the list could go on!!

One place in my bucket list? Just one? How do I choose?? 😀
Ok, I’ll share one of my dream, that seems to not appear in your list. It’s Antarctica!! All those pretty pieces of ice……

Toronto is one of my very favorite cities – love seeing it on your list!

The top of my list these days is London, the English countryside, Wales and a tour around Scandinavia. Spending two and half weeks around the Irish countryside have me yearning to do the same in England and Wales. I’m also so in love with the idea of a Scandinavian adventure.

Switzerland has long been on my bucket list. Also Ireland, and all the Canadian provinces west of Ontario, and the maybe dozen US states I haven’t been to yet. (My girls and I will be up to HALF the states by the end of the year, just for 2019!…)

Switzerland and Paris could be the most commonplace in this bucket list! Toronto would be my destination though. I wish that I would visit these places in the very future. Thanks for reminding a way to think over it.

Yes to that list. I feel blessed to have traveled to 40 states and to a lot of the Carribean Islands. I ‘ve also been on the Alaska Cruise as well as to Hawaii. I took the olunge and did China and Thailand in May. It was great. I have not been to Italy and Greece. That is on my list for 2020. My husband and I travel with our kids so they can experience it too. They are currently college students. I love traveling as it gives me life to live more.

Greece, Barcelona, Japan, Austria and Bhutan are high up on my bucket list. I wish we had enough money to go on a trip and visit these places. It seems like we have been saving forever! I will check if we can find some seat sales with airline companies. We have to make these dreams a reality soon!

My boys have traveled around the US quite a bit, but we are saving the bigger, international trips until they are just a bit older. I’ve been to a few places on your list, including Disney this past summer. Personally, I’ve never been a fan of Miami, but I grew up on the other coast so I prefer that side of Florida most of the time.

I have many of the same places on my travel bucket list. I would love to visit London, Ireland, Greece, Morocco, Barcelona and South Africa (Botswana). Let me know if you ever plan a trip to Toronto!

WooHoo! I’ve been to 9 of the places on your US list! I wasn’t to go back to Hawaii with my daughter so bad. She would love it
