Summer is in full swing here and in most places! I know we are all dreading the “I’m bored” that will inevitably come out of our kids mouths! Fear not, I have some of the best summer toys for kids 8 and under at various price points and abilities that kids will absolutely love and play with for hours (OUTSIDE!!!).

Reusable Water Balloons: My kids absolutely LOVE these! They are great because you are saving money by not buying water balloons constantly, there is ZERO mess to clean up and they are good for the environment! Wins all around.
Bounce/Splash slide: This is a splurge but we actually got ours on sale. Any of them will do but my kids will seriously play with this for hours and hours and hours.
ANYTHING bubbles: I don’t care how old they are they all love bubbles. I highly recommend bubble guns!
Outdoor Connect Four: This is a new purchase for us and something we can all enjoy. Such a fun game when you have friends over too.
Outdoor Jenga: Similar to the above this is perfect for family game nights, kids to learn things like taking turns and being a good sport (big thing in our house), and just good fine motor skills!
Velcro catch game: I had this as a kid and got it for the kids for Easter. They LOVE playing with this! I feel like it’s such a great silly fun game and everyone ends up laughing!
Scooters: We just upgraded Charlotte’s scooter and the kids LOVE riding their scooters to the park, on the trail, or just in our driveway! I think these are personally the best kinds!
