One of my big pushes in life is to lead as healthy of a life as possible on all fronts. This is everything from the way I eat, the way I exercise, how much sleep I get, what I put on my skin, etc. I get asked all the time what my favorite products, items, etc are so today I am sharing my health and wellness favorites.
Health and Wellness Favorites
Exercise: I am a Nike girl through and through. My favorites are Roche and Flyknits. The ones above (on sale for less than $60!) are such a fun pair and so perfect for long walks, and barbell class at my gym. I am a convert to wireless headphones. I never wanted to try them before and I was sent this pair and now I am can’t use regular ones. I have been religiously wearing my Fitbit for about two years. The last year especially since I had Liam and I love seeing how many steps I do daily, how my heart rate changes weekly, and my weight loss progress. I can also track my water intake which has helped me drink more water. I NEED to keep hair out of my face and THESE are my favorite headbands for working out. I started doing BBG (Bikini Body Guide) about 5 weeks ago. I have noticed a few subtle changes so far and I can’t wait to see more progress. If you are looking for a new challenging workout this one is great! Worth the price.
Sleep: I am a creature of habit, and just like babies adults, need routines. My biggest health and wellness favorite for sleep is my routine. But a big part of that is this tension relief spray from Alba 1913. I spray it on my pillow and I swear it helps! I also think daily mediating with Headspace has been helping me sleep. I highly suggest checking it out if you are looking to get into mediating.
Body: I do not really care for seafood. So I don’t get a ton of Omega3 in my diet. I have been taking an Omega3 supplement for years and this is the one I buy. You can purchase it on Amazon. I have mentioned several times that I am trying to drink more water. Andrew got me a Yeti tumbler for Christmas and I have been drinking tons more water since! I got the book, The New Health Rules a few months back and I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to change or better their overall health and wellness.
Beauty: After seeing MANY people talk about it I purchased an Ice roller. I was super skeptical, but I have been using it daily and notice less puffiness in my skin especially after workouts. It also REALLY helps with migraines. Bonus. I do a LOT of face masks and I think they are a really great thing to add to overall health and wellness. Taking care of your skin is just as important as the rest of your body.
