Happy March! I am honestly so glad February is over. It was a rough month. Other than Liam turning 4 (which was the huge highlight) the rest of the month was hard. With the big snowstorm in Texas, and just so many days of freezing, snowy, awful weather, it kind of sucked. But, a new month means a fresh start and I am excited to share my March 2021 goals and also see how I did in February!
March 2021 Goals
In February I wanted to…
- Read 4 books: Hard fail. I read 2. Just not a ton of time to read this month.
- Take Liam on an outing just me and him: Another fail, when we had plans we had to cancel them because he had an adverse reaction to his 4 year vaccines.
- Celebrate Liam’s birthday: BIG YES! We had a HUGE yard sign, we did a drive by parade, donuts, chick fila, presents, decorated the entire house in a space theme. He had the best time!
- Take Charlotte on at least 5 outdoor walks (weather permitting) a week: The weather sadly did not permit.
- Have an at-home date night for Valentine’s Day with Andrew: Yes but it was a week late due to the snow. YAY for Chinese takeout!
- Dedicate 2 hours a day to hyper-focus on work with no distractions: Nope. I mean I was able to do that A LOT but not every day.
- Grow Pinterest by 500 followers: I was pretty close!
- Grow Instagram by 1000 followers: Nope, growth on Instagram is SLOW!
- Start planning something Andrew and I can do for our birthdays locally and safely: Done and done and I CANNOT WAIT!
- Visit with my grandparents 3 times: We didn’t see them in person 3 times but we FaceTimed with them A TON! My 96 year old grandfather got an iPhone.
In March I want to…
- Read 4 books
- Get the kids Easter baskets together
- Celebrate my grandfather turning 97
- Find a fun way to celebrate my moms birthday
- Have a date with Andrew one way or another
- Try to see at least one friend in person socially distanced
- Grow Pinterest by 500 followers
- Start planning summer blog content
- Secure 3 new brand partnerships
- Take the kids to do something FUN!
What is one of your March 2021 goals?
Aw! Your February is understandable. Texas really did have it hard. So sorry!
In March, I want to write 4 blog posts and publish them 🙂
Insta growth is definitely not instant but you are doing quite well with over 100 thousand followers.
I love that you set monthly goals. I do the same thing. It really does help keep you on track.
I love it! I set myself monthly goals, as well. That’s the only way I’ll get anything done. LOL
Monthly goals are an excellent way to continue forward progress both personally and professionally. I”m glad you’re rolling along with them!
My march goal is being more productive. Doing some different type of things.
It still seems like you got a decent amount done! I should make a goal of being able to focus and get things done like booking a trip or more practically, finish my taxes!
Ugh I feel these totally! Growing IG is sooo hard! I need to hear your pinterest tips!

Love that you have set goals every month and publishing them. Makes you more accountable. Sorry Feb was a rough month. that crazy snowstorm in Texas was insane! Hope everyone came away relative unscathed.
Ugh, that snowstorm was horrible! I know your area got it even worse than Houston, but we went 32 hours straight without power on the coldest night. It definitely changed some of our February plans. The boys were out of school for a planned break the week before, then we had a snow week the following so they were out of school two weeks in a row. We had a lot of family time, and played a lot of board games during the day without power. But it surely interrupted business time.
It’s always a good idea to have goals. I love that you include how much reading you’re going to have in there as well. I love setting aside time to read. If you don’t stated as a goal sometimes it’s easy to not get to it
I am so sorry for all the things that happened in Texas. Now March is here, let’s hope for something fresh and new. Happy belated birthday to Liam!
I laughed about the iPhone. Seems less and less people are immune to the technology bug esp when it comes to a phone. 🙂
I liked your list! I also tend to do this kind of thing, you know, listing the things I wanted to do and it’s so much fun!
Happy Birthday to your grandfather!!! WHAT A FEAT! 🙂 My mom, dad and husband’s birthdays are all this month too!
Keep pushing on those goals! You may not have achieved them all, but you reached for them all, and that’s what really counts.
Great goals! The summer blog content planning is a good one
I should get on that myself!
I think the status of your Feb goals was not too bad. At least Liam got to celebrate his birthday. It is also nice that you grew your Pinterest account. I, on the other hand, was not able to even start. LOL…
Anyway, hoping for a better and more productive month this March. Yes to more brand partnerships. 🙂
I’m so sorry that February was such a tough month. I’m hopeful that March will be SO much better – I have faith that it will (less snow, most likely haha). You’ve got some seriously awesome goals!
Love that you are focused on growing on Pinterest! I really need to utilize that more! So smart! And love. your other goals!!
This is such a great idea to keep yourself accountable for reaching your goals. I hope your March goals are totally on point!
I love that you are writing down your monthly goals and then sharing whether or not you were able to accomplish them.
I love how you are making your goals and intentions clear, that’s the best way to manifest them. Lately, I’ve been working on Pinterest growth too!
Great monthly recap and goals update. I hear ya on the instagram growth. It’s just so slow. I’m considering abandoning it altogether and focusing efforts elsewhere (youtube)
I love the idea of having a monthly challenge like this. Times are tough with the pandemic and a challenge would give me something to look forward to.
It’s good to have goals and those are all looking great. Hope you achieve all of them and do a great job.
I am glad that you are safe from the winter weather that wreaked havoc. I hope you have a chance to get out and enjoy time together with your family this month.
There are so many cool goals here. We have mother’s day next week, so I am sure that you will find some great ways to celebrate mothers day x
It’s good to define your goals firsthand.
Oof, it looks like the weather in Texas really messed with your goals and plans! Still, it seems you got things done – happy birthday to Liam!
Tjis are some greta monthly goals. I need to implement them. I recommend you to listen to audio books. Is more simple.
