My Bucket List

I’m partnering with #LISTERINE as part of a LISTERINE® sponsored series for Socialstars™

My-Bucket-List

I have a list called 101 in 1001 where I try to do 101 things in 1001 days. So far I’m not doing terrible. But beyond that there are some bucket list items I just REALLY want to make sure I cross off. Some of these might be on my list and some are not.

Princess-Cruise-Caribbean-13

Some bucket list items:

  • Jump out of a plane
  • Go on a Mediterranean cruise
  • Go to Bonaroo
  • Go Zip-lining in Costa Rica
  • Go Parasailing
  • Take a gourmet cooking class with Andrew
  • Participate in a Flash Mob (I have watched the movie, Friends with Benefits too many times)

Sure there are other things I would love to do, but I feel like a bucket list item has to be pretty epic!

I have to admit though I can be a bit of a scaredy cat. Andrew and I love the show, The Amazing Race and constantly I will say “Oh I would do that!” to some of the crazy things they do. While that is completely true, I can’t help but think I would be scared out of my mind to do them. I think a big part of it is confidence. I know I have the confidence to sky dive or go zip lining somewhere crazy but I need that extra push. I need to be bold. So how can I be bold and cross a few items off my bucket list? By taking LISTERINE®’s Bring Out the Bold™ campaign and taking the Bold Challenge! By taking the bold challenge it really makes me want to be more bold in my life and try things I might be afraid to do!

We are going to Mexico in August, so maybe I could try to cross an item or two off my list then. I suppose the Zip Lining could be anywhere, right!? 🙂

So grab some LISTERINE® and take the Bring out the Bold Challenge!

What are some items on your bucket list?

This is such a fun bucket list! Parasailing is a blast – you should definitely do it! And zip-lining in Costa Rica? That sounds amazing 🙂

  3. My bucket list is all travel related, I want to go everywhere. I have always wondered a bit about a flashmob and what that would be like.

Jumping out of an airplane and zip-lining–NOPE not on my list!! At the moment there is not much on my want to do list–oh a couple I suppose–like getting in a rowboat and rowing to the middle of a lake and docking the oars and reading–been a long time since I’ve done that! Listerine really does wake you up–and I love that they have made it better tasting–oh how I remember that taste from when I was young——-

I used to have a bucket list with things on it like skydiving, but I find that as I get older I get more cautious. Whereas before I would jump at the opportunity to jump out of a plane, now I’d be a nervous wreck AND most likely would have to be pushed out of the plane.

Maybe I need to take that challenge, because I’m way too much of a wuss to do those things! I’m more of the type of person cheering on the “crazies” who want to jump out of airplanes. 🙂 I’ve never really made a bucket list, but I guess I probably should!

  11. I’m all about a new adventure and crossing things off of my never-ending bucket list. When I’m not traveling or doing the “big things” on my bucket list I try to find small things to do everyday, like trying something new on a menu, or changing up my morning routine to I can be more active. The biggest thing I accomplished on my bucket list so far was going to Hawaii and seeing the Napoli Coast. My next big thing is to audition as a backup dancer for a major artist!

  12. Love this! I want to jump out of a plane too. (Pref skydive with professionals and not jump out to save my life as the plane is crashing). We zip lined in Jamaica and it was one of the coolest experiences ever.

  14. I’m working on a list of things I want to do by the time I’m 30 and definitely having a hard time narrowing it down. Why can’t I just do everything? (Minus jumping out of a plane, I don’t want to do that!)

  17. These all sound so fun! At the top of my bucket list is visiting New Zealand and seeing where they filmed Lord of the Rings. I’m a nerd, but that’s okay. I also really want to go hang-gliding!

  20. I started making a bucket list a few years ago, before I turned 30. I’ve already crossed off most of the items on the list, including Tough Mudder and volunteering for a charity, and later this year I’ll be climbing the highest mountain in the UK.

  21. These all sound like fun ideas. I’d love to go on a hot air balloon ride somewhere, go to a Hawaiian Luau, and ride in a helicopter. Those are a few of my bucket list items. I’m sure you’ll have a blast in Mexico.

  23. That’s an amazing (and expensive!) bucket list. I hope you do get to do all of those in the next 1001 days. I love the concept. Jumping out of a plane… I leave that to my 72 year old father in law. Bungee jumping? Nope – not that adventurous. However – I have always want to go down in a shark cage off the coast of Australia.

I’m way too scared of heights to try most of yours! I would like to do zip lining though one day… maybe! Mine are mainly travel related. I’m aiming to visit every county in the UK with my kids before they finish school (they haven’t started school yet so I’ve got a while!)

Zip lining isn’t that bad! I did it once in Mexico and it was a lot of fun with the exception of having to cross over certain areas that made me freak out. I also went parasailing in Mexico and I got sick. I was told that the boat we did it with was not big enough and that caused me to get sick (I rarely ever get motion sickness). I always said I wanted to sky dive but I would probably have to have someone push me out of the plane to do it. Great bucket list!

  27. I love this challenge, such a great idea! I posted a reverse bucket list recently with things I’ve accomplished on my blog. Anyways, I have a super long bucket list saved on my computer, but some things on my bucket list are parasailing, pay off mortgage, go to Europe, riding in a hot air balloon and participate in a marathon.

  34. Your list is fun! Though I could never jump our of an airplane! One of the most treasured items on my Bucket List was to run across the Golden Gate Bridge. Two years ago I was blessed with that opportunity. It is still the most memorable moment of my life.
