5 Hacks For A Busy Schedule

Thank you to Chicken Of The Sea for partnering on this post.

I feel like right now more than ever we are SO SO BUSY! Not a day goes by that I don’t fall into bed feeling like there just aren’t enough hours in the day. I tell myself it’s just the season of life we are in. Working, being pregnant, having a toddler, plus a million other things going on. Today I want to share 5 hacks for a busy schedule that can help you and buy a little time during those crazy busy days.

5 Hacks For A Busy Schedule

Waking up earlier: I find when I wake up about 30-45 minutes early the day doesn’t seem as crazy. Maybe because I am up before everyone else or maybe because I can drink my coffee in peace. Who knows!

Being prepared: I always have my to-do list handy and my iPad in my bag just in case I have a few minutes to work, or get things done. For instance if I am waiting for my oil to be changed on my car that’s a good opportunity to get work done, answer emails, make appointments etc.

Have a healthy lunch with you: My biggest tip really is to always have a lunch and snack with you! If you are like me and you are barely home during the day between errands, school drop off and pick up, working out, and work you probably eat in your car a lot. One of my favorite things and go to lunches are the Chicken Of The Sea Infusions™. I have talked about them a ton on here and Instagram. They are the best lunch or mid-day snack! If you are constantly go go go but still want to be healthy and get all the health benefits this is for you! They come in 4 delicious flavors to choose from too. I prefer the lemon and thyme or the basil while Andrew loves the Thai chili and the tomato! But really we both love them all! With twice as much protein as any other protein rich snack like nuts or bars this is a major win! The infusions are in a small container that even has a fork under the lid. No fishy fingers, no bad smells. Your neighbors will thank you (especially if you are eating this in public)! For you pregnant mamas this IS pregnancy safe because it has the lowest mercury, even lower than the FDA standards. Also if you are into Keto, Paleo, or Whole30 it’s good for those too! I highly suggest grabbing these next time you are at the grocery store and having them on hand for those insanely busy days!

Multi-task when you are able: If you are sitting in traffic, listen to a podcast that informs you of things going on in the world. If you have a phone call to do but you are waiting in the carpool line, make the call. Or maybe you got to school pick up early (story of my life) so check emails in the car before you go in. I find things like this actually help me knock items off my to-do list.

Give yourself a 30 minute break at the end of the day:  This may sound counter productive but hear me out: Having 30 minutes at the end of the day to read, watch a show, or even just do a face mask can really mentally prep you for the next busy day ahead. We can’t be work work work all the time. You have to have a break or you will burn out.

Take a look at these 5 reasons to try Chicken Of The Sea Infusions™!

Did you find any of these 5 hacks for a busy schedule helpful? What would you add?

Waking up earlier is how I accomplish EVERYTHING without feeling stressed! I get up every morning around 5am, and work for 2 hours – and it’s when I am most productive for sure! It’s silent in my house so I can truly FOCUS and have some ME time as well.

I would really love to create a way to stay on top of all that I need to get done. Most of the time I just feel really overwhelmed by my to do list.

    Great hacks. I love these.

I so agree about being prepared. When I’m not prepared, things seem to fall apart…fast.

I haven’t tried the Chicken of the Sea Infusions. Gonna give them a try now.

    Thank you for the recommendation.

I definitely agree that waking up earlier is so important. And having a good, healthy lunch helps keep you going throughout the day. I don’t eat tuna, but my husband does. He opened a package last night and had to leave the kitchen for a moment and our cat, who never talks, was meowing up a storm in there trying to get to the tuna!

Awesome. I know I’m not an early person but then I realize when reading this it does make sense. I do have my to-do list but I need those extra hours to take a break. I’ll be learning this and I know I can.

Wow, I don’t think I could get up that early because I go to bed late. However, it doesn’t matter because I’m usually alone in the house when I get up at 8:00. I just need to work on not getting so distracted with emails, networking and other things. Btw, those are some great products to take on the run.
