I love the start of a new year! To me there is not

I love the start of a new year! To me there is nothing better than knowing that you can decide to make anything part of a new routine. Last year I started using @rebalancehealth and noticed a change almost immediately! I had more energy, I slept better, and I didn’t hit that midday slump I dreaded!

For me my TOP wellness tip is moving my body in some way every day. Some days that might mean a walk with the kids, some days It’s a long Peloton ride. Whatever it is, I move my body every day! The other thing is finding 30 minutes a day to completely unplug. I will leave my phone charging in my room and play outside with my kids, work on a puzzle with them, or just play a game!

One thing we’ve tried to instill in our kids is the importance of leading a healthy, balanced life. All work for the year done and submitted, all gifts wrapped, all errands (mostly) run. Now it’s time to relax- hopefully! To be honest this week has been a bit tough- Charlotte has RSV and an ear infection and the weather entering below zero temps later this week is giving me some major ptsd to when we lost power for 3 days the last time that happened in 2021. But, I’m trying to remember that there’s only so much I can control. So if you need me the next two weeks I can probably be found with coffee and my kindle in front of the fire- with at least one kid laying on me. Merry Happy 🎄
